Peaceful experience 😊

It was such a nice experience! The driver, guide and familiy were so friendly and careful. For me it was a big highlight during my stay in Jodhpur. Being in the desert, seeing the life of people in the village was a pleasant change to the life in the big cities. I felt very grateful and peaceful after this ride on the camel during the sunset. Would recommend this experience everyone who stay in Jodhpur!

Ray and Dhanu were the best! Ray drove me around and spoke to me the entire time. He was funny and caring. Dhanu let me ride his camel named Michael Jackson. We went to his village where I had food prepared by his wife. What an experience!

This camel safari was absolutely amazing! The camel ride through the desert very quiet and peaceful. The family that owns the camels were also very nice.

we went for half day camel tour which is very amazing. the camel ride is wonderful . the driver ray was magnificent. he speak great english. he have a great knowledge of area . The desert was a lot of fun . camel man dhanna ram and his family welcome to his home and he provide a delicious marwari dinner . he provide a lot of information about village culture . after dinner we start another camel safari with sunset , the sight was wonderful . the sunset view is fantastic . after finish sunset we are taken back to our driver Ray .take a another 1 hour drive back to our hotel. dont miss this unique experience . a perfect way to spend a day I would recommend them to everyone

Overall, this was a wonderful experience which I would recommend to other travelers to Jodhpur. Both the driver and the family were very welcoming. However, for a solo traveler it was admittedly a bit awkward. The tour description is adequate however it should be noted that the driver is not necessarily a guide, rather, he is a facilitator. The visit to the Jain Temple is included in the itinerary but without real context so you are given directions on how to view it but there's no real history or literature to add value to the experience. A little explanation here would go a long way. After leaving the temple, we drove further into the desert to start the camel ride but I was expecting to arrive at a facility of some sort rather than just meeting a herd of camels on the side of the road. Again, had I had an expectation of this I would have been better prepared especially as a solo female traveler. I left on a camel with a young man who didn't speak very much English and was very quiet but polite. Once we arrived to the village however, the atmosphere was much more welcoming. Everyone I met was warm and friendly but they were preparing for a larger group who would spend the night so my experience was rushed and the family distracted in order to welcome the other guests. That being said, I think in a larger group with a few simple though key communication improvements this would be an excellent experience and a highlight for a trip to Jodhpur.

The camel safary itself is very nice. The camel man took us to his house and we 've had a glance of their totally different life. Very friendly and nice people, they give you the warm feeling of being a special guest in their family. But that is not only the highlight of the experience, but may be the only thing it's worth it. The visiting of the famous Jain Temple and Sachiya Mata Temple is kind of scary experience especially if you are by yourself. There is no tourguide, just a driver and he droppes you close to the temple so you have to go by yourselve. And there is nothing in english, nobody speakes also and for foreigner is confusing.
