The stated time on our website is 10 minutes. The helicopter's timer doesn't run on the ground, only in the air. Winds and weather affect our ability to enter Emerald Bay (which I'm sure you noticed was right up against Maggie's peak at over 8,000ft). Safety of flight is our primary concern and we will not subject passengers or ourselves to unsafe downdrafts encountered when the winds are coming from the other side of those mountains into Emerald Bay. All of our tours and routes are subject to change due to local weather patterns at the pilot's discretion (also stated in the tour description).
Your statement "...falsely advertised..." is a blatant lie as well as the statement regarding "...idling the helicopter to reach 12 mins..." There are specific shut-down procedures the pilot was following. I'm sorry for your lack of understanding regarding helicopters and helicopter flight. Read the disclaimers next time.
