Vi hade en underbar och läcker kväll med Shree! Hon tog oss till alla platser och vi serverades omedelbart vid varje. Hon kunde beskriva ingredienser och förklara tillagningsmetoder och hade en djupgående kunskap om varje maträtt och olika indiska regioner. Eftersom det var påskafton var ingen annan i vår grupp men vi hade en underbar tid oavsett. Och vi gick därifrån ganska mätta och glada!

Vi har gjort vandrande matturer genom Viator tidigare men det här var *bäst* överlägset. Maten var riklig och utsökt med ett stort utbud av indisk mat, drycker och desserter att prova. Jag njöt av en underbar mattur med Nanthini! Min man mådde inte bra, så han stannade kvar. Som en blyg person var jag nervös över att spendera tre timmar en - mot - en med reseledaren men jag borde inte ha varit orolig alls! Nanthini var en fröjd från början till slut och jag lärde mig så mycket av henne på den här turnén! Hon fick mig att känna mig så bekväm och välkommen. Det enda jag ångrar är att jag inte fick en selfie av Nanthini och mig. Jag gillade verkligen våra samtal om kryddor, ingredienser och tekniker. Hon frågade om proteiner och smaker som jag tyckte om och arbetade med dem i våra val när vi turnerade. Totalt provade vi 9+ rätter och turnerade på en indisk marknad. Nanthini ordnade också en rundtur genom ett hektiskt restaurangkök - fascinerande! Jag kan inte rekommendera hennes turné starkt nog!

Enjoyed learning about the history of the neighborhood and Indian cuisine while sampling yummy foods. Learning about the ingredients and culture made it that much more meaningful. After three hours, left stuffed with food and appreciation. Dietary restrictions were completely honored.

The food and the location were absolutely perfect! We were able to try a large variety if Indian food and all of it was incredibly delicious. The best part was our guide, he was funny and so nice! He was extremely knowledgeable and actually had a previous career as a professional chef! I learned so much on this tour about Indian cuisine and cooking. I could not recommend this tour enough!

No real Indian meal just snacks and chickpeas!

I give poor ratings because this $200 expensive tour did not provide good full Indian meals that I usually get in the restaurant. Instead he gave us chickpeas and beans and some simple snacks until we were full of them and then at the end gave us some lamb hops and chicken. I expected to eat some chicken and lamb masala and curry and other good Indian stews. Also he took us instead to grocery shop showing us spices and talked too much about Indian spices and other cultures but mainly constantly talking his personal opinions about everything that I lost interest in the tour. He also touched the food and spices with his hands and then put them in front of us to eat !!!! Seriously? I could pay $25 and eat very well real Indian food. With this $200 tour we just ate chickpeas and beans and some very simple snacks and listen too much about spices and his political and social narrow minded opinions. Not impressed at all. Think twice before choosing this tour

Firstly the aim of this tour is to allow you to experience authentic food from the Indian subcontinent in this diverse thriving part of London. These foods include the delights of the region's lentils, pulses and street snacks and are a part of the cuisine we aim to highlight, so why you have negative views on this part of the cuisine is unclear to me and is inconsistent to what we are trying to showcase. From your response, it seems that you expected to eat what you normally order and get at your normal high-street Indian restaurant; however, again, the whole idea of this tour is to educate and present the wide variety of food that Indian cuisine offers. This tour does include chicken and lamb curries and grilled meat delights, so I am confused as to why you believe these were absent. Our guides are selected based on their ability to show great people skills and have a true passion for what they do. Your guide on this tour is no exception and has generated a huge amount of 5-star reviews in his time with us. We are sorry if you had any issues with his personal opinions or felt he talked about the spices and culture too much. Our clients highly value this information, which is a huge reason for them selecting our tours. We are sorry to hear you felt otherwise. As for touching the food, it sounds like you are referring to the spice box we showcase to learn about spices. In this demonstration, the spices are passed around so you can feel, touch and smell them, but they are not part of the foods we serve. The spice box is only used for the tour and not in anything we eat. Everything we serve is never handled by our hands and is served in main dishes for people to access. Finally, your point on paying $25 to go to an Indian restaurant and eat well is almost the entire opposite of what we set out to do. Our tours help serve up a large variety of food from a range of interesting venues, providing a social, cultural and even mildly theatrical experience by which at the end of the tour, our aim is that you have fun, eat very well and have gone away with a memory of a lifetime. We are sorry that these elements we offer are very different from what you had wanted; we believe this is well represented in our product descriptions. Yummy food and lots of it!

Tanu (not sure on the spelling, sorry), our host, was amazing, engaging, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we tried dishes we've never had before. This experience was a great value for what we paid. We visited 3 different places, including a grocery store, and then we got the desserts at a 4th place. We walked to a park, and we thought we were going to eat the desserts there and the tour would end. But, nope! We went to a Pakistani restaurant, where we were served 4 more dishes! Highly recommend this tour.
