Dagen var oklanderligt planerad och organiserad. Tempot var bra - - vi såg så mycket men jag kände mig inte överväldigad. Jag lärde mig mycket om Luxemburg på en dag och kände mig väldigt säker och bekväm hela tiden. Vår guide var mycket kunnig och engagerande. Jag tyckte att resplanen var fantastisk - - vi såg lite av allt, från den historiska stadskärnan till grottor och vattenfall.

Perfekt stads- och landstur på en dag

Detta är den perfekta turnén om du har begränsad tid i Luxemburg som vi gjorde. Ken är en underbar guide. Jag älskar när du har en lokal guide vars stolthet över sitt land lyser igenom. Turnén börjar med en rundvandring i Luxemburg och sedan hoppar du på en skåpbil för att ta en tur på landsbygden. Vi åkte till slottet Vianden, åkte en stollift för en flygvy över området, stannade till vid ett par naturplatser och besökte Echternach (den äldsta staden i Luxemburg). Om du har tur, som vi hade, får du en överraskning i slutet. Rekommenderas starkt!

Min flickvän och jag tillbringade en helg i Luxemburg och njöt verkligen av dagen - resan runt landet på lördagen. Ken och Christian gick utöver det vanliga för att göra resan så trevlig som möjligt! Ken var extremt informativ och gjorde varje destination till en stressfri. Han var också redo att möta gruppens behov genom att tillhandahålla vatten längs vägen (vilket behövdes!), och ge den perfekta tiden för de olika stoppen. Vi kom nyfikna på att veta mer och gick därifrån och pratade om när vi skulle komma till Luxemburg igen!

Vi hade bara 1 dag i Luxemburg och det här var en utmärkt turné att se och göra mycket på 1 dag. Vi tog en rundvandring runt stadens centrum med guiden. Körde sedan till Vianden slott och hade gott om tid där för att se allt och äta lunch på egen hand. Vi tog sedan stolliften upp för höga vyer. Vi körde runt på landsbygden och besökte en naturpark med ett vattenfall. Vi gick runt i en liten stad med ett besök i en stor kyrka och avslutade med en vingårdstur och vinprovning. Det var en hel dag och jag lärde mig och såg mycket. Ken och Christian (guide och förare) var fantastiska. Vi hade gott om möjligheter till pauser i badrummet och att vara ute ur skåpbilen i friska luften. Detta var en utmärkt turné som jag starkt rekommenderar.

Med Ken som vår reseguide hade vi en fantastisk dag på turné i Luxemburg. Vi utforskade och lärde oss så mycket om Luxemburg stad såväl som flera platser utanför stadens centrum: några höjdpunkter var slottet Viaden, en stollift uppför ett berg, vingårdsregionen Mosel och vingårdstur (utsökt!) Jag rekommenderar starkt att göra den här rundturen med guide Ken & chaufför Christian! ! !

So much stuff in one day and SO GOOD

We did it ALL!!! Started out with a walking tour where we learned a lot about history and the government. 48% of the people living in Luxembourg are ex-pats from 200 countries!!! The buses are free y’all. Free. And hybrids. And clean. Ken was our guide. I appreciated his enthusiasm, his jokes and his helpfulness. Then we went to a castle! It just happened to be the Medeivel Festival at Castle Vianden. It was amazing!! Next we went on a chair lift that took us way above the castle. So beautiful. Next, a small waterfall and some lovely hiking spots. Then the oldest town in Luxembourg. These are short stops but the views and scenery is fantastic. Then to a winery. Phew. I’m beat. And it was well worth it! I will say this is quite a bit of walking and the baby hill up to the castle is steep. Definitely wear comfortable shoes.

Great trip to the Vianden.

Because of this tour or our tour guy (his name is Ken) to be exact, my perception of Luxembourg changed from very negative to “I will be back in the summer”. Ken is very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide, who speaks English very well. Traveling by bus and train was easy and actually pretty interesting, since you can see countryside of Luxembourg. Castle is all the way up the hill, so be prepared to walk a lot, so wear comfortable shoes. Also, Ken made a reservation in a very nice restaurant for lunch with a lot traditional food. Everything was absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, I would highly recommend visiting that place, if Ken suggests.

Amazing tour! Ken was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative and very patient with me as my one of my knees was hurting (welcome to your 30s)…he made reservations for us in the best Vianden restaurant. I loved this tour! We were the only ones in the tour. Would definitely come back during the spring or summer and will contact Ken again! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My guide, Ken, was very friendly and provided detailed insight into the history and culture of Luxembourg. He got us to Vianden early so we were one of the few people inside the castle which allowed us to enjoy the tour peacefully and snap photos before the crowds arrived. Afterwards we walked the city walls, visited the main cathedral along with the Victor Hugo museum and enjoyed a scrumptious Luxembourgish meal for lunch before heading back to Luxembourg city. Highly recommend if planning a trip to Vianden!
