Sköldpaddorna räddade dagen

Beskrivningen av resan är felaktig - det är inte en heldags båttur från Marmaris. Det är en bussresa från Marmaris till en sjö, sedan en flodkryssning och sedan en bussresa tillbaka till hotellet. Från det ögonblick du går in i bussen är det som en basar, med reseguiden som listar priser för drinkar och snacks. Det är likadant på båten, men värre, med allt till salu, tvångsfoton och en kapten som vävt in egenmarknadsföring för andra resor han springer in mellan sitt turnétal. Han var också kulturellt okänslig och kallade en italiensk gäst för en mafioso (djupt förolämpande mot italienare och inte något att skämta om). Absolut ingen mat eller dryck tillåten på båten om den inte är köpt, även vanligt vatten är förbjudet! Reglerna för en restaurang utan restaurangens kvalitet eller komfort. Lerabadet var roligt och bra för huden, nekropolen var fantastisk och vi fick se några majestätiska sköldpaddor på turtle beach. Kort sagt, själva turnén är underbar, men företaget som erbjuder det är obehagligt och kommer att behandla dig som pengar - producera boskap. Jag skulle rekommendera att hitta en annan leverantör!

En fantastisk familjeresa med tonåringar. Ägaren fick alla att känna sig välkomna och gjorde upplevelsen mycket trevlig med sin glada personlighet. Lerbaden var jätteroliga och vi fick en härlig lunch med kyckling, pasta och sallad efter att vi hade chansen att bada och rensa bort leran. Båtturen genom den slingrande floden Dalyan var underbar att se Rhe Kings gravar och se sköldpaddor som gömmer sig i vassen, det väckte stor spänning. Turtle beach var absolut vacker och havet var vuxen axel djup ganska långt ut vilket gjorde det säkert för nybörjare simmare. Återresan gav möjlighet till en extra måltid (extra avgift till ett rimligt pris) som vi erbjöds färskvattenkrabba och fisk, båda var läckra. Sammantaget var det en fantastisk dagstur med en fantastisk värd. Vi alla njöt verkligen av varje minut av äventyret. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera.

Strålande resa - bra valuta för pengarna

Strålande dagsutflykt från början till slut. Lera bad var stor. Lunch på båten var fräsch och välsmakande. Gravar var vackra och turtle beach var jättekul! Våra värdar på båten var underbara och drinkar var mycket prisvärda liksom bilder för att påminna oss om vår dag. Skulle verkligen rekommendera denna resa till alla.

Managed to see the turtles and tombs which was good. The turtle beach was lovely sandy and clean. I wasn’t keen on the mud baths but others were really enjoying them

Not a group of 15 - more like 60- but overall good tour

The reason we booked this was because it said it was a group size of 15. As soon a a full sized coach turned up we knew that the description had lied and had paid more to be in a smaller group. However the trip was good but would be better in a smaller group and also made shorter by not having to drive round all the hotels picking people up and dropping them off. You were able to pay for your drinks and food on the boat by card/Apple Pay at the end which was very handy as you spend a lot of time on the boat where you can’t eat or drink your own stuff.

Great but shame about the coach

The boat and tour guide was amazing but what let the trip down was the coach transfer we moved to 3 different coached on the way then the coach on the way back over heated and we had to stop in a garage they are very old and needs to be looked at overall the trip was great

A fantastic trip. Loved the boat trip and the timings were great Turtle beach was great (but busy) The boat crew and guide were excellent but …. The coach driver was driving with one hand using a phone on a coach which had no speedometer and had a STOP sign permanently on his dashboard - and a full length crack up the windscreen. It did feel a little sad for such a poor standard of coach and driving with such a wonderful trip otherwise

Nice trip but be prepared if you have kids

The trip was very nice, the guide was well informed, the beach was super. I wish though they mention there was an hour bus ride and 2 hours of boat before we get to the beach . So if you are travelling with kids be prepared...

Our trip to Dalyan

Started day off waiting outside the office. Tour van pulls up and lady was very short asking for tickets, we requested and English speaking group but got put with an all Russian group instead. Guide was nice and did speak English well. Took smaller and bigger bus up to the lake got onto the boats headed to the mud baths mud baths were fine. Had lunch after baths chicken was extremely dry noodles were good though. Then cruised down to the river. There wasn’t much commentary from any of the guides went past tombs stopped and looked but we’re told nothing about them. Didn’t see any turtles or even attempt to look for turtles along the way. Which was our main reason for booking tour. We had an impromptu stop to fish for blue crabs which was fun. Guide was helpful and so was crew Drinks were pretty expensive for 3 glasses of wine and 2 crabs we paid almost 300 lira Stopped at beach which was pretty nice When asked where we wanted to be dropped off lady seemed annoyed that she had to drop us off and they dropped us off at the wrong hotel. Probably wouldn’t recommend to friends

The cruise itself was good, the guide was very hospitable. The first stop which was the mud bath was nice views but the mud bath itself wasn't got me. It looked a bit more like a dirty pool, lunch was decent, the stop at dalyan beach was amazing and the water was warm, it was a shame didn't get to see any turtles but overall it was good value for money

Tour from start to finish was well organised and well managed. Enjoyable boat trip on a small boat with other English speaking guests. Tour guide very knowledgeable about the area. Boat captain was delightful and had many skills from driving the boat to serving drinks and cooking tasty meals for us. Thoroughly recommend booking this tour.

This was a most enjoyable relaxing trip with plenty to see. The Lake and river cruise was most enjoyable with Dalyan tombs the highlight. Turtle beach was beautiful although turtle sightings are rare.

The coach was full of people so it is a really popular excursion. The guide was multilingual and on some strange frequency, but he was approachable and friendly that i wasnt bothered about his phoneline..to be fair he was funny at times. sailing across the beautiful Lycian Coast along the Turquoise Sea was really relaxing and fun. Everybody was buying drinks and ordering the crab which seemed like some kind of luxury item.. Lunch was actually included, but there was no fuss if you wanted to eat and drink more. Sailing along the coast was idyllic and the highlight was the rock cut tombs of the Kings of Kaunos founded in the 9th Century BC on the border of the Kingdom of Lycia. Sailing along the the Dalyan Canalo from Koycegiz Lake ti Iztuzu Beach was a gem, leading to the Mud Baths - which is why I actually booked the excursion. The mud is supposed to be really good for your skin because of its sulphuric qualities and I absolutely loved it. I met another guest who helped with what to do instead of bugging the guide or the souveneir photographers. There was mud, drying off, taking a dip, showering and a hot-tub. Then onto Iztuzu beach for swimming , sunbathing and relaxing.. It was a really fun and therapeutic day around other people who were friendly and like vacating. I would do this specific excursion again.

This is an ALL DAY trip! First you board a big boat at the harbour: PLEASE BE AWARE -- NO OUTSIDE FOOD or DRINKS allowed: plan ahead and don't bother to bring them because they WILL be taken away from you, placed in a plastic bag wtih your name on it and given back to you I think when you switch boats to go to Turtle Beach or at the end of the day. So you spend about 1/2 day on the big boat where there is a swimming stop and lunch. Also you might get asked if you would like to purchase the CRAB SNACK for 20TL: I did, but it was just OK, not amazing as was promoted. So will leave that up to you. Once you board the small boat as is seen in the promo pics on Viator, you are first taken to Turtle Beach. NOTE: if you use a beach chair, you will be charged, and there is not always nice spots for putting out your towel on the beach, because it is all TURTLE PROPERTY!! Lol lol lol..... After the beach, you will board your small boat for the trip up the river, where you will see the sites of the area, the old tombs get your zoom lens out!!! and then reach the spot for the mud baths. Go ahead and let the guy take your picture covered in mud and buy it later, because you cannot really take a camera to the location. The smelly sulfur springs is also worth a dip! After that you are transported back to the big boat, where you can now snack and drink all the way back to port. If you are lucky, there might be some light entertainment on board: but I'm not sure it it is a regular feature. HAVE AN AWESOME DAY: GO HAVE FUN!!!!
