The trip was wonderful 🌞, punctuality and attention of the spectacular guides, Miguel and Sydney👏🏻👏🏻, kayaking gave us a lot of fun. The raccoons are a little scarce, they are terrified of the dogs, and some go to the island on the yachts, but Sidney (guide), made an effort for us to see them. Bring sunscreen, suitable clothing, shoes for stones on the coast. They will enjoy it a lot 🙌

Good kayaking, but disappointing lack of raccoons

The boating and kayaking was exactly as expected, but the island was PACKED with people, and our guide (Dan) could not have been less personable. He seemed distant, and couldn’t have cared less about helping us find and see any raccoons. We saw two raccoons and fed one, and it didn’t want the watermelon the guide gave us, so thankfully we brought our own snacks. This was absolutely nothing like what you’ve seen online/instagram, and I’d only recommend it if you’re interested in the boating and kayaking experience with a chance of seeing raccoons, rather than the other way around.

Our guide Dan was great. Only saw a raccoon but still so worth it. Weather was great. Drinks included. No snacks. The boat and kayak were amazing. Fun afternoon.

The experience was simply amazing. Aaron was extremely nice and available from the very beginning, the island was pretty busy with loud music, so he helped us to find calmer places and approach the raccons anyway. After that he guided us through mango trees and it was stunning. Thank you!

What a great tour! The weather was cold and windy so the guides offered us a boat ride all the way to the island. The island had some very loud visitors which scared the raccoons away, but we had a nice walk through the trees and eventually the sweetest little raccoon came out to see us and we all got to feed it multiple times. The guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. I’d love to go back in the winter when there are fewer loud party boats and the raccoons are more comfortable coming out to say hello.

Great experience! Beautiful kayak tour through the mangrove trees and out to raccoon island! Plus you get a nice 20 min boat ride to and from the kayak launching point. The tour guide, Ricky, was great! They offer both alcohol and non-alcohol beverages throughout the entire trip plus you can purchase a waterproof bag for your phone for $10. Highly recommend!!!

Fun outting. 20 minute boat ride ro pick up the kayaks all in excellent condition. 20 paddle to laland hour walk around. Weekend so lots if people, boats and picnics but we continued to the backside of the island to see a great group of raccoons. They loved the water the best. Then a kayak paddle in the mangroves. Lots of fun excerisecand recommend

The guide was wonderful and kayaking was so fun and scenic. The raccoons were absolutely adorable and they loved the watermelon they gave us to feed them. I’d recommend wearing a bathing suit and bringing something to put your phone in if you want to take pictures because you’ll likely get wet kayaking.

My daughter and I had an incredible day seeing manatees, wild raccoons, and learning about the mangroves. Aaron was very knowledgeable and friendly. He ensured we had a great experience while making sure the group was safe. Would absolutely recommend booking the trip.

Amazing excursion, such a unique thing to do in Miami. We’ve been here over 100 times and this was one of our favorite excursions., amazing Eco tour through mangroves, and then a wonderful island with raccoons that are very cute and friendly, the boat ride there to get kayaks was amazing too very nice hospitality and snacks and drinks on the way, great way to spend a half a day!!!amazing!!

Super après midi kayak sur racoon island

Nous avons passé un super moment que je recommande à 200%, tout était parfait du début à la fin . Déjà Le bateau pour nous emmener sur la plate-forme avec les kayaks , c’était génial , super paysage , on a même aperçu des lamentins. Le capitaine du bateau était super sympa , on a eu des boissons tout au long de l’après midi . Nous étions un petit groupe de 8 , c’était très appréciable c’est pas l’usine ! Nous avons fait le kayak , 3 places pour mes filles (14 et 11ans)et moi , très bien ! Trop de mouvement pour le paddle mais ce n’était pas grave au final on a apprécié le kayak même si on en a jamais fait . Super balade dans la mangrove avec Cindy , super guide d’une grande gentillesse , nous sommes françaises donc nous n’avons pas tout compris mais on s’en est sorti , cindy n’a pas parlé trop vite non plus. Ensuite nous avons pagayé jusqu’à racoon Island (tout à fait faisable )nous avons fait un 1er stop , nous avons vu plusieurs raton laveur 🩷 nous avons pu les nourrir , les filles ont adoré et moi aussi … ensuite nous sommes reparti avec le kayak de l’autre côté de l’île (au passage belle vue sur la skyline de Miami au loin) la l’eau était magnifique , turquoise , encore plusieurs racoon trop mignon nous leur avons donné du melon … mes filles ont fait un peu de snorkling elles ont adoré 😍 bref une superbe après midi nous avons tout simplement adoré en plus ma fille fêtait ses 11 ans (17/04/24) , elle en gardera un tres beau souvenir et en parle encore aujourd’hui !! Si vous hésitez, n’hésitez plus vous ne le regretterez pas ! Merci encore à Cindy et au capitaine du bateau 🙏🙏🙏🙏… (J’en profite pour lancer un appel à Cindy si elle me lit , vois avez fait des photos de mes filles ce jour là en train de faire du snorjelling et de moi même avec un raton laveur , si vous voulez bien me les envoyer ?!
