Din dag börjar med hämtning från ditt hotell i Mykonos (på begäran) eller genom att ta dig till mötesplatsen vid piren. Gå ombord på färjan till Delos där din guide utfärdar biljetter till den arkeologiska platsen (entréavgift ingår ej) och ger en introduktion till öarnas mytologi och historia.

Enastående turné - utmärkt guide

Ett måste se när du besöker Mykonos, pedagogiskt, roligt och välorganiserat. Kvällen var en bra tid för denna turné eftersom det var svalare och solnedgången som kom tillbaka var fantastisk.

Tyckte om vår resa till Delos men det var inte lika bra som de andra turerna vi tog i Grekland, främst på grund av stort gruppformat och vår initiala oförmåga att hitta vår guide. Vi fick höra att leta efter en guide som innehöll ett # 2-skylt, men hon höll upp en blå flagga istället. En annan dam vid grinden delade ut biljetter, så vi kunde komma in, men sedan var vi tvungna att springa från grupp till grupp och leta efter de andra # 2: erna. Vi missade den första delen av turnén. För framtida resenärer, föreslå följande: 1. Boka en liten grupptur (om de finns). Det vi kunde höra från vår guide var mycket intressant, men hon började ofta sitt samtal innan hela gruppen kom. 2. Anländer i Mykonos stad i tid för att gå från buss eller taxi till färjekontoret som ligger på en punkt runt viken i staden Mykonos. Du behöver förmodligen minst 15 minuter. Sätt in kvittot för biljetter på färjan. 4. Var beredd på hackiga hav om det är blåsigt.

The guide was very informative. She was very passionate about the history of the ruins. The Sea Bus was good going there and back. The only thing was he did not stay long enough at the dock and some of us didn't get out, because we didn't realize he stopped. When asked to take us back he refused since it was the end of the day and his last stop was on the other side of the cove. So, we were stranded there late at night with no transport back to the hotel. Until the other couple found a way for us to go back to the city.

Instructions from tour transport were not correct (directed us to a boat, when we needed to go to a ticket booth & then were directed to a different boat). Boat was unsafely over crowded (no way they had enough life vests) & no place to sit. Our tour guide was good.

poor trip

from the very start there was poor communication. we stood in wrong lint until someone told us that if we prepaid for tour go to a different line. i was given tickets but not told what to do with them. i am glad i put them in my packet because we had to show them to get back on boat. were not told that there was no venders on the island so we were not able to buy water. we were given sound devices but tour operator would not hold mike close enough to her mouth to hear and also there was a single line and if you were in back mike was out of rang.

Delos is a very larger Greek ruins and well worth the visit. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and present the material very well. Despite a very windy day everything when as planned.

It's a great day out on a tour of Delos!

This is a wonderful tour of the island of Delos. You can do the experience yourself by booking a ticket on the ferry that takes you there, but to get a full appreciation of the site you really need a guide. Our guide really brought the place to life (I forget her name unfortunately). Even though she has presented this material hundreds of times before, she sounded fresh and interested. From the outside, the ruins don't look like much, but as soon as you enter the archaeological site, you realize that this something special. The fee includes the ferry and the guide, but does not include entrance to the site itself. The one downside to the tour is that Viator does not give you a ticket to the ferry. You have to get there early and get on line with your voucher and they will issue you a ticket at the ticket booth. Don't miss out! Enjoy this tour!

Very cool... The history, the amount of artifacts and the narration of our tour guide, was very impressive. A must see for those that love history and mythology.

A good way to see Delos

I recommend this tour to anyone looking for a Delos tour. The logistics were good. The meeting point was clear, the procedure to get to the island was well organized and easy. Meet at the ticket office at the old port, take the ferry to Delos. There we met our guide. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Her English was good. She took us to several of the key sights, explaining why they are important. We learned the overall history of Delos. Our time on the island was about 2 to 2-1/2 hours. I find that a good tour guide is very worth the cost, to help me understand what i am looking at, and to explain why it is significant. We also were lucky in that our visit in April had great weather, about 22 C, sunny, light wind. A disadvantage of going in April is that there was only 1 ferry, leaving at 10:00 and returning at 1:30, so there was only a little free time to explore on our own. I expect in summer there are more ferries, which would allow one to stay on the island longer, but in summer it is MUCH hotter. The museum is still in renovation, so we couldn't visit that, even if we did have time.

We were booked to Delos and unfortunately had a last minute injury at the port. We asked if we could get a refund but we’re denied. Very disappointing.

So worth the money. Irene (I believe that was her name, it was a while ago) was a queen who deserves to be praised. So knowledgeable and truly passionate about the subject matter. I can't say enough good things about her. Her storytelling is excellent and she did a fantastic job managing a large group in the heat. 10 stars for Irene—she is the best tour guide I've ever had, and I've had many.

leaving and going out on our own was the best part of the trip. we didn’t make it through the tour, the guide was rambling the whole time and we didn’t feel like we were learning or exploring at all. we left halfway through and had a much better time on our own. unfortunately, we do not recommend this tour. it felt like a waste of money

The Delos tour is one of the most interesting tours I’ve ever been on. You can’t help but feel the ancient spirit of the gods and the people who roamed the town as the guide educates you about the land, the monuments, and the people. There’s so much to see, it’s impossible to catch it all in one day! I’m definitely going to come back for a second your but self guided so I can look and learn about the parts we missed.
