Amazing Honolulu Helicopter experience!

We got on this tour because another company sent us an email 2 days before telling us we need to buy another seat! We wanted a small open door helicopter but they didn’t have a 3rd person. I quickly cancelled that one and found Mauna Loa Heli. They gave us a vip private tour for just my wife and I. Hunter, our pilot was fantastic! He circled around landmarks we were really interested in, and gave a great commentary. Natalie , at check in was very pleasant! All in all I can’t recommend them enough for an amazing experience!

What can I say, this trip was absolutely incredible! The trip around the island and views were magical and the info given by our pilot Hunter, was excellent. The location was easy to find and not too far out of downtown waikiki. I would 100% recommend an island helicopter tour with these guys.

Great way to see the island

Was a great adventure. Had some trepidation when booking due to this being a "doors off" flight. No issues with wind or cold. Even went through a couple of brief showers, but water did not come in the helicopter. Beautiful views. Wonderful ride.

Being able to revisit the locations that we explored on the ground days before was an emazing recap of our Hawaiian vacation!! Staff and equipment was amazing and would highly recommend this to anyone and can't wait to do it again with them on our next visit!! Doors off is the only way to go!!!

Fantastic and very enjoyable tour, the views were amazing, and Travis, our pilot, was an excellent tour guide. Only critique is administrative, I'd mention that you must park in one of the two MLH marked parking spots, labeled 4 and 17 I believe.

Our pilot was wonderful and did a fabulous job with narrating throughout (as we asked). We saw all the main items on my bucket list and even circled Pearl Harbor twice. Adam in the office was equally as personable and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for a better experience!!

What a ride! Travis was our pilot and he made the trip not only safe but informative. He showed us parts the island we could only see with a bird eye view and answered questioned that grew from our own curiosity. 10/10 would fly again.

Best Way to See the Island

We absolutely loved the ride around the island. We saw things that we couldn't get to on land so that was awesome. We went all around Oahu and saw everything from Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head and everything in between. Our pilot, Travis, was very good at pointing out what we were going over, and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend going doors off so you can see everything. I will definitely do it again if given the opportunity!

Our favorites include seeing the variety on the island, the waterfall, the lush mountains, the coral in the sea, the full silhouette of the Arizona, 20,000 acres of pineapple, the various blue colors of the ocean and the clouds floating on top of the mountains! Our pilot was awesome!

This tour was amazing! I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Oahu. We got to see everything within an hour. Beware it is a pretty small helicopter! WARNING!!!!! Either braid your hair or put it in a tight bun. I have long hair & I left it in a ponytail & my hair was in my face the entire time & was also getting wrapped around the coiled wire for the headphones. My hair was just in knots afterwards & it was ripping out when I was brushing it out.

Incredible pilot with tons of information. The views were spectacular from all the bays to a hidden waterfall! Definitely recommend the doors off flight. All of the staff were polite and friendly. would 100% do this again!
