Poor planning

At 2:49pm we received an email stating that due to safety reasons the cocktail cruise was not proceeding. While we understand the safety concerns regarding the weather, the overall weather situation was not forecast to change much for the Friday and the decision to cancel the cruise could have been determined the day prior and we could have made alternative arrangements for our day. However, due to the late notification, we had no time to make alternative arrangements. We have traveled from Australia and are leaving on Sunday. The only option here is to receive a refund. As disappointed as we are by the lack of planning for this tour, our overall experience in Honolulu has been top notch. But to aggravate the situation by then getting the email from Viator asking us to review an activity which did not proceed, is just inflammatory. We did not see the Friday night Fireworks as a result. We trusted the advice of various sites and were not able to see the fireworks yet again (having departed on a cruise on the Friday 9 years ago).

This was such a fun experience! The captain and crew were amazing, genuinely kind and lovely people. We had a blast except for a few other guests that were ugly towards us. But you can’t let ignorance ruin your fun! Definitely a must do! Our next trip back with the rest of the family we will be doing this again!

The Pink Sails Waikiki Night Fireworks Cruise was an unforgettable experience! The fireworks over the ocean were breathtaking, and the cruise itself was so enjoyable with great music and ambiance. Huge thanks to the fantastic employees Alexo, Shamis, and Morgan for their outstanding service, making the evening even more special. Highly recommend this cruise for a magical night in Waikiki!

The sunset was covered with clouds but the trip was very pleasant. Enjoyed a couple of cocktails while on the boat. The fireworks were beautiful. The crew of the boat were accommodating and a pleasure to sail with. It was a great evening.

The views were incredible - not only the wonderful fireworks but also the Waikiki shoreline lit up at night. The staff helped us have a lot of fun, and there were drinks aplenty to top it off.

The staff were funny and friendly. The cruise was beautiful, we caught the sunset and a full moon. They played great music people were dancing and singing along. When we returned we were docked next to an outdoor music show where we enjoyed fresh made pizza (at a reasonable price!) and hula dancing. I would definitely recommend this excursion, well worth it.

Not worth the money

We were told through emails that the cruise started at 6:00 and we needed to check in 45 minutes prior. Waited an hour for someone to show up only to be told the cruise was scheduled to leave at 6:30 and they just changed the time. Then there was not seating available for all the guests. At least 25 people stood the whole time, including my group. It was just a fair experience

For the arrival time which is 45 minutes prior to your tour - the reason behind that is because Waikiki on a Friday tends to have bad traffic, hard to find parking space and etc. We do not want you to miss your tour - since this happened every time from our customers from before, however, your feedback is valuable to us, and we'll use it to improve our service for future guests. confusing, but enjoyable

there was so much chaos before we even got on the boat especially with two ships running next-door to each other at the same time. I almost missed the cruise because the communication was poor . The cruise around Waikiki was beautiful especially with the full moon and the fireworks.

We really enjoyed the event, however had we known the fireworks were only < 3 minutes long, I would have looked for other options. Seats/tables had reserved on them but it wasn’t clear who they were reserved for. The drinks were ok but cheap which was nice.

My most memorable part of the show was where we were seated on the cruise. We were able to see the fireworks without any obstruction. Got good photos.

Music wasn’t loud enough wasn’t much of a mood… boring. Did not have ginger ale or even sprite .. the choppy boring ride caused me to get sea sick and no remedy.
