A great morning in Upper Antelope Slot Canyon

The Upper Antelope slot canyon is spectacular. Our guide Josh was great with iPhone camera settings to capture photos at the various stops in the canyon.

Amazing experience . We went during the off-peak season and it was fantastic. Almost had a private tour of the whole place !! No rushing through, tons of really cool pictures taken from the tour guide who knew all of the good spots. Super cool to learn about the history and culture. Definitely recommend and Constance is an amazing guide!!!

Lydell was a very helpful tour guide! The canyon was empty due to the rainy weather, and he was nice enough to be our professional photographer! He was also very knowledgeable about his Navajo history and culture, which we loved! We appreciate the experience very much and will recommend to our friends ☺️

Very nice scenery, though if you have to pick only one of the canyons, I recommend the Lower Canyon (assuming you can can go up and down steep stairs ok). Guide was very willing to help with photographs.

We have five people and we were combined with other two people as a group to go into the canyon. Our tour guide is great and the transport van is comfy. Overall tour experience is great!

Be careful, website said we could bring any age kids with us, when we reached there, they did not allow kids under age of 8. My mom had to stay back with my son so she couldn’t go with us. They did not return money for my mom’s ticket either The tour guide was excellent.

Fantastic Guided Experience

I've visited several slot canyons in the Desert Southwest (always solo, unguided) and finally had an opportunity to book a visit to Upper Antelope Canyon. Having seen numerous images online, it's easy to see the appeal. Nevertheless, I usually balk at any guided tours, preferring to explore at my own pace. That said, I was thoroughly impressed by how well Adventurous Antelope Canyon Tours managed and presented this astonishing geologic wonder. Our guide, Nathan, (I was in a group of six) was very cordial and helpful in many ways. Not only did he inform us about the geological and cultural importance but he was an expert on modern smartphone imaging, helping everyone get the best photos. I was also impressed at how well the pacing was maintained despite the number of people packed in there. It's not a terribly long slot, but the easy pace made it enjoyable. I was glad to make the trip and would consider returning (especially to try Lower Antelope and compare the two).

Driving from Las Vegas was long drive but with the dessert and Mountain scenery were acceptional. The drive was worth it. As we got to the Antelope Canyon, we were amused!!

Our tour guide, Nate, did very well in showing and telling us the stories behind every angles, shades, and shadows including minute details of every rock formations inside and outside of the upper antelope canyons. Very knowledgeable indeed.! However, one suggestion, if I may, is the owner/operator should provide a clearer directions on how to get to their location - we were given a highway number and a mile marker number that was several hundred meters off the mark. We showed up in one place to check-in only to find out we were in the wrong place. Once we found their meeting area, we felt being rushed to get on the 4X4 vehicles because, by then, we nearly missed our reporting time. Other than that, our group had lots of fun which made up for whatever confusion and frustration that it caused earlier.

Cancelling 3:15 tour because of darkness

Tour guide was good but she admitted that this tour at 3:15 has been cancelled since 11/1 because of darkness. I feel that we should not have been allowed to sign up for this time. It was very dark and we couldn’t see anything. We did not get our moneys worth.
