Vår guide, Wendy talade vacker engelska med en charmig fransk accent - kunde ha lyssnat på henne hela dagen. Hon var kunnig och passionerad om Louvren och dess skatter. Den ena hörlurssändaren fungerade perfekt.

Mycket hjälpsamt att träffa Louvrens höjdpunkter och hoppa över köen! Skulle ha varit väldigt överväldigande för oss utan en guide och vår guide var fantastisk!

We are very sorry to read your review, and extremely disappointed that you state that our tour is a scam. I would like to reassure you and others that this is very far from the truth, and to cover the points you raise in your comments to explain fully what happened, especially as you met our team onsite, so we are very surprised that you are saying we never showed up and there was no tour. Our guide and coordinator were at the meeting point 15 minutes before we asked you to arrive, which was 15 minutes before the tour departure time. The coordinator was wearing an orange cap and large orange badge on an orange lanyard, the guide was also wearing the orange badge and orange lanyard. It is stated clearly on your voucher to look for the orange cap and badge. When you did not arrive at the meeting point on time we called you 3 times but went straight to voicemail each time. We left messages. We asked the guide to wait with the rest of the group an extra 5 minutes in case you turned up. You did eventually arrive at the right place and met our coordinator who was still there waiting for you. She took you into the museum and tried to catch the guide, but was unable to as it was too late and they were already well inside the museum. We have group reservations which are timed and which allow us to skip the lines, you have to enter with the guide and group on time. Our onsite coordinator spent quite a considerable amount of time with you trying to catch up to the guide and then called our customer service team, with you, so you could speak to one of our team. You told them you had gone to a person with a red flag and asked them if they were from Viator. They replied yes and so you stayed with them and did not look for our guide in orange as requested on your voucher. We don't understand why you are stating that no tour happened and there was nobody to contact, as you spent a lot of time with our coordinator as she tried to help you join the tour and then spoke to us immediately afterwards and together we ascertained that you had been with the wrong person, that we had called you 3 times and that the guide and group had waited. Our telephone number is also clearly written on your voucher if you need help. We do take a lot of trouble to write all the information very clearly on our vouchers so you know exactly where to go and who to look for. We very much hope that you will read it carefully to avoid any mix ups. We also call every late guest to see if they need help finding their guide as we of course understand that all kinds of things can happen in a new city, we are here to help you. Our tour went ahead as normal, all the other guests were there. Once again we are sorry that you went to the wrong person and that you missed your tour, but we did all we could to try and locate you and to help you once you arrived after the tour group had left. Please rest assured that we work very hard to ensure that all our guests have the best experience possible with us, our amazing team of guides are always there ready and excited to give our guests a 5* tour and we hope that our guests get to love our beautiful city as much as we do. We hope you had a great time here nonetheless.

Värden var mycket kunnig och tog oss snabbt och effektivt till de viktigaste delarna av galleriet. Louvren är spektakulär, men väldigt stor. Guide gjorde informationen lätt och höll oss alla underhöll - barn och vuxna. Jag skulle rekommendera att gå tidigare på dagen så att du har tid att utforska Louvren efteråt eftersom det stänger vid 18.00.

Fantastisk turné allt gjort extra speciellt av vår guide Mattel. Han behöver skjuts. Rolig, extremt kunnig, tålmodig. Lysande. Upphämtningspunkten var extremt vag. Bågen är under uppbyggnad! Ingen anledning att Frankrikes minnen inte får hålla en flagga? Väldigt konstigt. Vi hade tur när vi stötte på ytterligare 3 personer som vandrade runt. Mycket stressigt när du har betalat det belopp vi gjorde för att missa turnén efter att ha varit där 40 minuter för tidigt

Thank you for your comments! We are happy to read that you enjoyed your tour with Matteo. The arc where we meet is currently being renovated but please rest assured that we are allowed to hold flags! We are just waiting for some new ones to be delivered to us. It can get crowded at the Louvre so we call all guests who are not at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour departure time to ensure that they meet up with their guide. We also have coordinators for our shared tours who meet the guests and are very visible with bright orange caps and an orange badge on an orange lanyard. We are very happy that you met Matteo and enjoyed your tour with him. We hope you had a great stay here in Paris!

We are very sorry to read your review, and would like to reassure any future guests that we do not randomly cancel tours 30 minutes before they start. As I'm sure you saw on the day of your tour, there were protestors blocking the entrance to the Louvre. Our guides and coordinator were on site with you and did all they could to try and ensure that the group were kept informed and taken care of. The museum was due to open, but it became clear that the protestors blocking the entrances would not leave and that they could not allow people inside in a safe manner so they decided to remain closed for the day. At this point our team on site informed all our guests, and we asked Viator to cancel the tour and process full refunds for everyone. We are very sorry that the tour could not go ahead due to the conditions on the day, please be assured that the strikes are very disruptive, and that our team is working hard to ensure that they have as little impact on our tours as possible, and that our tours can go ahead in the best conditions possible. Once again I'd like to reiterate that we do not cancel tours last minute unless there are exceptional circumstances like the current strikes which mean we cannot access the museum, and which are totally out of our control. We hope you had a great stay in Paris nonetheless.

We are very sorry that we were not able to run our tour due to the strike and we understand your disappointment. As you saw on the day of your tour, strikers were blocking the entrances to the museum. Our guides and coordinator were on site with our guests and were in touch with us in the office. We did all we could to keep them informed and they did all they could to try and make the tour go ahead. Once we were informed that the museum had finally decided not to open, we informed all our guests immediately and asked Viator to cancel the tour and process full refunds. Please be aware that these strikes are totally out of our control, and that we are working hard to try and ensure that our guests are affected as little as possible by them. A 1* review affects us and our tour very badly. We hope that you can reassure future visitors that our team cares very much about our guests and that we did all we could to ensure you were taken care of. We hope you had a great stay in Paris despite the strikes and that perhaps we'll have the opportunity to show you the Louvre on future trips should you return.

Mötesplatsen höll på att renoveras, så först visste vi inte var vi skulle hitta vår guide. Han försökte ringa och senare kunde han hitta oss. Det var verkligen att hoppa över kön på Louvren. Vi var 6 i gruppen, vilket var perfekt. Vår guide, Avi, var så kunnig och kunde tillgodose våra behov. Vi rekommenderar starkt detta företag för denna typ av turné. Tack!

The meeting point is being renovated at the moment, future guests please look out for the big golden statue of the horse and chariots which you can still see sticking out on top of the archway above the scaffolding. Vår tour guide var fantastisk. mycket kunnig, energisk och engagerande. Louvren är extremt överväldigande. Det skulle inte ha varit roligt utan denna hoppa över kön och reseguide. Den 1 . 5 timmar är ett bra intro till att navigera i detta monument.

Humberto var mycket vänlig och personlig och tog oss med för att se måste - se, men pratade också om Louvrens historia från en fästning till ett palats till ett museum och intressant bakgrundsinformation om själva konstverken, inte bara om konsten . Han var mycket kunnig, och vi är glada att vi gjorde den här turnén! Det var ungefär 2 timmar långt, och vi såg och lärde oss mycket!
