Great Day on a Private Tour of Philly

We had a great time with Dave. He customized our tour to align with our interests. We learned a lot about the city and cultural neighborhoods. The tour ended at a favorite place of mine, the Reading Terminal Market. It was my wife’s first trip there and she loved it.

Getting such a good overview of Philadelphia. Travelling by minibus meant you covered a lot of ground and the tow trucks left us alone. Jared was a great tour guide.

From 2-6 pm it was non stop history and wonderful sights --- Jared was a wonderful tour guide who didn't mind spending extra time with us .... he was a great driver also.

Fun Tour with a Great Guide

I was in town with a group of buddies for a baseball game. We took this tour the morning before the game as a way to see the sights of the city and learn about its history. It was a really fun tour and our guide was very friendly and informative. He was also very adaptable to our schedule. The tour was supposed to end with a cheesesteak for lunch, but since we had hit up the cheesesteak shops the night before for dinner, he pivoted and got us lunch at a nice establishment in Reading Terminal. The tour took us on a good selection of Philadelphia as we saw both historical sites, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and modern sights such as the Rocky Steps and everything in between Reading Terminal.

Great tour. We recommend it to others.

Jared our tour guide was just outstanding! He was funny, knowledgeable and flexible. He seems to really enjoy his job and that comes through in is work. I liked the small group tour aspect. It allowed to freely move from location to location in the small streets of Philadelphia. I liked each of the locations selected like the Liberty Bell and the original cheese steak shop. By the way, I like that the sandwich was included in the tour fee. Although, we could have skipped the prison since it we a depressing site. I loved the drive through the neighborhoods. All in all, my wife and I had a great time.

Philly tour overall done well

We really enjoyed seeing Philadelphia through the eyes of a local person. I appreciate the history and the preservation of it. I did not enjoy the prison tour, simply because I'm not interested in exploring this part of our history. Jared, the guide was really good and answered all of our questions adding in some humor occasionally. By the way... the cheese steak was amazing.

Jacob, our guide, was so nice, informative, and flexible. We saw all the sights and more. Van was comfortable and cool for the hot day we toured.

The Philadelphia Tour was a nice personalized tour including enjoying the The Liberty Belll, Steps to Rocky Statue, and the Penitentiary. Tour was a great non-rushed way to experience some of the history of Phildelphia.

Skip the tour. Not worth the price. Food sucked at Pat’s Place.

Driver was prompt and knew his stuff. Skip the jail tour. It was worthless. Sub a museum. You didn’t include the independence hall tour. The whole tour was worth about $60.00 not $160.

I ended up being the only guest on the tour. Nick and Jared were phenomenal. They gave me a customized tour off the beaten path. Highly recommend! Hate that my husband wasn’t able to go on this with me.

Waste of money, not what it stated

Unfortunately, I can't find a way to contact Aviator before posting this. I paid $296. for a half day tour in Philadelphia. The guide was late getting us and he didn't go to and/ or stop at the places the tour mentioned. We stopped at the Liberty Bell, Rocky stairs, and Penitentiary. He never pointed out 1st US bank, AND DID NOT make any other stops...we were suppose to stop at Independence Hall, 2nd US Bank, Washington Monument, City Hall or the Reading Terminal. He did stop at a place for the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. This was the worst tour I had. It was not worth the money. I waited a while to post to see if my view would change. I should get a refund of some sort. I hope they contact me.

Excellent tour of the highlights of the city with knowledgeable, eloquent guide. Enjoyed the historical vibe of the multiple sites, amazed by historical facts of Benjamin Franklin lifetime achievements, the serenity of Community Garden.
