    Amazing rain forest trip

    The entire trip was amazing. Timely pick up stopped on the way for a bathroom break. The rain forest was beautiful. Rope swing and rock jump into the water was nice. Had a good stop for lunch on the way back Gean and ray were great guides.

    Tristan & Adrian(?) were very accommodating and very nice. They shared some knowledge of local animals and rain forest plants along the walk. We had a 6 & 9 year old with us. The guides were very helpful to make sure we all made it up the tricky areas They made it through but it was definitely more difficult for them - climbing up and over and the slipperiness of the wet clay. (Mom fell twice-oops). They say to embrace the mud, and that’s what I did. 😆 The 6 year old shocked us and went down the slide, water was quick because of a lot of recent rain, but he did well and the 9 year old did fine. The rock jumping was good, there’s 3-4 levels (on the day we went) you can choose from. One you have to step down about 6-8 feet to but is only 3-4 feet off the water, another you step down to about 2-3 feet above the lower and one about 2-3 feet above that. There was a bigger one about twice as high as the biggest of the shorter jumps as well for those more daring people. Rope swing looked sturdy and husband said was pretty solid. The water is definitely chilly but once you get in it is fine. No where near as bad as New Hampshire non-heated pool water or river water - 😂. Stopped at a local food stop on the way back for bathroom/clothing change/food/drink break. Tried some coconuts- not for us, although most likely cheaper than Isla Verde coconuts would’ve been, and some smoothies made from fresh fruits. It was the end of our trip, and I would’ve loved to pick up some fresh fruit, but didn’t feel we would eat it in time before having to leave. Overall glad we booked the trip and would do it again, if we are ever able to come back.

    We enjoyed our tour with Tristan to El Yunque National Rainforest. We signed up at the last minute and he was still able to accommodate us, picking us up at our hotel. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was interesting with facts about the rainforest and the plant life we encountered along the way. To get to the rockslide a little bit of climbing was involved , but Tristan safely guided us through it step by step, offering a helping hand when necessary. If you haven't been to the rainforest, we would recommend it and recommend Tristan to take you there!

    We booked last minute. Tristan, our tour guide sent all the important info via text right away. He picked us up at our condo, then picked up another couple afterward. We then met the rest of our group at a souvenir and snack shop before heading into the forest. The trail was technical and slippery, but we all made it and had a great time. Take the early tour to avoid the crowds and have the afternoon free for sunshine at the beach. Tristan was a great guide and we all had a fabulous time.

    This tour was worth every penny! Paul our tour guide made sure our experience was unforgettable! Our group of 9 ranged from ages 48 to 6 and we all LOVED it! The rainforest was breathtaking and the adrenaline rush from the slides and jumps was intense. This was our favorite part of our 8 day trip.

    Our guide was awesome! He was super personable and helpful. My kids loved him and his adventurous spirit! The natural water slides were so fun and beautiful. The cliff jumps and rope swings were a huge hit! The water was refreshing after the 25-30ish minute hike to the swimming spot and the climb up to the falls. We had a group of 11 and it was the smallest group I saw there.

    Excellent experience!! Our guide Tristan was kind and very patient! The tour was challenging but he made it easy and the water was amazing !! Highly recommend!! Bring water shoes !!

    This experience was AMAZING!!!! Our tour guide was awesome and so knowledgeable! We had so much fun hiking, going down the natural water slides, cliff jumping and rope swinging. The rainforest was extremely beautiful and everyone we ran into was super friendly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

    Horrible paths with very much mud - slippery and very unpleasant. You can hurt yourself seriously if you fall. And you ruin your shoes completely, so don’t wear new and expensive shoes!

    That is the first thing we inform you of in the message the day prior, to wear clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting wet and muddy, as well as our tour information stating that this is an immersive tour in which you will get muddy, there are even pictures and reviews stating the exact same thing.

    Louis was the Best!!! Would recommend smaller group and the wash machine was fun! Jumping of cliffs and the rope swing was a blast. Great experience and my teens loved it.

    The water falls and slides. Also our tour guide Louis was the best guide ever. Totally chill and made sure everyone was safe and had a good time. This hike is a workout so make sure your have the right footwear.
