Lunnefåglarna var otroliga att titta på. Så bra att du har en kikare ombord. De enda sakerna varför jag inte skulle rekommendera den här turen är för att kaptenen kolliderade när vi lyfte och trots löftet att skicka bilder på lunnefåglar, när jag skickar ett e-postmeddelande, fick jag dem aldrig och jag är verkligen ledsen över det.

Jag ville verkligen se Puffins och så vi anmälde oss till Puffin Tour. Från den minut som vi hämtade våra biljetter kände vi oss som VIPs. Kaptenen välkomnade oss ombord och gav mig till och med sjösjukepiller för att se till att jag kunde njuta av resan. Vi hade två marinbiologer ombord, som berättade allt om valarna, fåglarna och andra djur vi såg. Vi hade alla en underbar tid. OCH vi såg tusentals lunnefåglar. De var runt båten och på Puffin Island. Vi tillbringade över 30 minuter på ön och lärde oss allt om de olika fåglarna. De tog även emot våra brittiska pund för lite snacks på vägen tillbaka. Om du vill ha en underbar 90 minuter ute med några fantastiska människor, missa inte denna resa. Tack för en båttur för livet.

Uppgradera till en spännande tur på en liten båt

På grund av en avbokning uppgraderades vi till en liten grupp Reykjavik RIB Whale Watching Cruise istället. Det var en spännande tur på en liten båt för att komma upp - nära vyer av knölvalar och lunnefåglar. Jag rekommenderar det definitivt!

Nice quick tour

This was a nice small tour to see the puffins nesting on one of the islands in the Reykjavik bay. Seating on the boat is a little cramped especially if you aren’t there early, but the cruise to the island takes less than 20 minutes and afterwards the best view is standing at the front of the boat anyway so not a concern. Our guide was very nice/knowledgeable, took pictures on her camera and offered to email her best shots anyone who asked. Saw so many puffins and really enjoyed

Canceled due to weather

When the conditions is unfavourable for sailing, we start by posting an update on our website directly and begin contacting everyone on our passenger list. So many puffins!

An enchanting adventure. Easily accessible from my hotel. A scenic walk to the waterfront. Extremely friendly crew eager to share information about the birds. Short boat ride to the island full of puffins and binoculars provided for viewing at a safe (for the puffins) distance. The tour even offers pre-trip Dramamine for less seaworthy folks. Highly recommend this tour.

Did not get to go

I did not get to do this tour. I had several issues with the busses not being able to take my mobility scooter and because of this I missed the tour. Viator would not refund my money, which I did not think was right.

Puffin frenzy

There was no shortage of puffins on display. There was a frenzy of puffins flying, swimming and feeding and the boat put us in the thick of the activity. Our guide was very knowledgeable describing their habits and antics. A very enjoyable day.

Great tour to partake in. Boat got close enough to have wonderful views of the island where hundreds of puffins, black legged kittiwakes, common eider, and black backed gulls were nesting. During the trip, we saw a total of 17 different bird species.

They immediately give you binoculars and you definitely need them. They were not able to get close at all. You may as well just look at pictures online.
