Silfra är en av världens mest dramatiska snorkelplatser. Det är en glaciär smältvattenfylld spricka som bildas av driften av de eurasiska och nordamerikanska tektoniska plattorna. När du har kommit in i Thingvellir National Park, sväng in på väg #361. Stanna på denna väg i några minuter och ta 3:e höger där du ser Silfra-parkeringen med våra företagsbilar. Kör lite längre till parkeringsplats P5 för att parkera och gå tillbaka för att träffa våra guider.

It wasn't a great experience for us only because we were freezing. The changing van was heated but the doors were open so it was still very cold. Almost every step getting into the dry suit is tedious. Then waiting for each step (help getting the suit on, getting gloves, getting the hood, etc.) was also long and cold. There was also a wait to get into the water. Once we were in the water it was bearable and beautiful. The walk back to the changing area was torture because we were so cold. Had it not been so windy, we would've had a much better experience. Yes, I know the tour can't control the weather. In regard to the staff, they were great. All of the guys were helpful and experienced.

Pretty disorganized but worth it. Thr estimated times are way off. The guides were all awesome. The hot chocolate and cookies they provided after were surprisingly great.

Our guide, Koncad, was really professional and patient. The time in the water was a little short, compared to the time spent on putting the dry suit on. But the experience was unique, fun and cool. We highly recommend it!

Lisa is an amazing guide! This experience was a challenge for me as I’m not the biggest fan of cold temps and my feet and hands give me lots of pain when cold. The suits were great at keeping us warm and being in the water was actually better than being out. Would totally do it again

We had a wonderful trip. I snorkeled with Quim & my husband dove with Lorenzo. They were both awesome. I didn’t know what to expect , but it wasn’t too cold :) A tip- bring a pair of warm easy on/off slippers to wear for before & after the dry suit. Looking forward to the pictures they take.

It was an incredible experience however I was very disappointed their dry suits don’t include dry gloves. If I had known I would have brought my own. My hands were painfully cold and I got out the first chance I got.

You are absolutely right, it would be great to provide dry gloves to our customers. However, dry gloves are more difficult to use for people who are not used to them, and they pose a higher risk of leaks. For this reason, we made the decision to use 7mm wet gloves on our tours. We had a beautiful February day and a fantastic experience - the sights were truly amazing. Oddy was a wonderful guide and made the gear up and down as smooth as it could be, and planned ahead to keep us moving and spend as little time as possible in queues. Unfortunately one of my mates had a leak in his drysuit and ended up getting pretty wet - we were given the photos complimentary which was nice to help sweeten the unpleasant cold for him (that and the hot chocolate). Bit of a bummer but understand slight problems with gear can arise and thankfully he had a change of clothes so we were still set for the rest of the day after that! Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend!

We were a group of 7 BSAC UK divers, 2 of us were Snorkelling. Met on location. 11am Sunday morning, blue sky and gorgeous day. This is a must for any Diver visiting Iceland. Beautiful scenery and surroundings. Dive.is were very well organised and safe. Great experience and so glad we did this.
