We were late in arriving...but Anne, gave us a wonderful tour, even going past the time assigned. We were blessed her schedule wasn't back to back and we appreciated her adjustment. The Hollywood gardens are simply beautiful and a wonderful tribute to those who passed. Truly enjoyed my time and Anne is very knowledgeable about Richmond and her personal ties adds the finishing touch.

we very much enjoyed out tour and guide. only complaint might be the comfort of the tuk tuk and 1/2 of your group has to sit backwards which does provide some neat views. I imagine it would be much more comfortable as a group of 4 than 6.

Great way to give visitors an overview of the city( I brought my out-of-town guests from Michigan and Tennessee) 1.5 hours packed with sights and information. Guide was well informed- great personality. Very enjoyable- I would do it again! .

It was only memorable because it was quite cold! The fan area is lovely! Hayden, the guide has little knowledge of Richmond history, virtually no comments or facts to share. No history on the fan district, Shockoe Bottom, slave trade, civil war or Poe. Thank goodness I did some internet research on Richmond history prior to the tuk tuk tour. My group of 3 was really disappointed in the Richmond tour.

You too the Richmond City tour - that provides highlights of the city. Sounds like you may have been more interested in one of the more historic tours. We also do a Civil War, Slavery, and Emancipation tour, and an Edgar Allan Poe tour.

Great Overview of Richmond & Great Tour Guide

I took the TukTuk tour alone while on my first trip to Richmond. My tour guide was originally from NYC, but had lived in Richmond for around 7+ years. His perspective as a person moving here was refreshing. He was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, the history, and the current state of things. Very well done. My tour started out on a sunny day, and ended up in a big downpour of rain, but the TukTuk kept us dry and the tour was just as nice.

We Wanted to Love TukTuk, But Didn't

Disappointed in our tour. We had high hopes of showing first time visitors our city and let them hear stories and facts about Richmond. That didn't happen. Our guide was nice and friendly, but had little knowledge of the city and its history. He gave vague answers to our questions or didn't know the answer. It would have been so much more interesting if he would have given us stories/facts about various places we passed on our way to the historic sights. We could have driven our guests in our car and pointed out the various sights ourselves.

The TukTuk was a blast!

The TukTuk was a fun and easy way to see the highlights of Richmond. We went on a Sunday morning and traffic was light so it was the ideal time. Our driver accommodated our requests (incl. a bathroom stop at the Hollywood Cemetery and a stop at the VMFA sculpture garden) and shared some interesting information about the city. It's advertised as accommodating up to 6 guests, but I wouldn't recommend more than 4 for everyone's comfort. Highly recommend!

Amazing Trip

It was such a great experience. I decided to take a solo trip to Richmond and so glad I did. The tuktuk tour was wonderful, my guide was so nice and knowledgeable, and I got to see so much. There's so much history packed into this hour and a half tour. The ride is kind of bumpy in certain places but it was just all part of the experience. I loved it.
