One of the Best Tours We Had in Rome - Great for Any Faith Tradition Who Appreciates History

Adrien, our tour guide was fantastic! He was a local student studying theology so his history and storytelling were great. My wife and I were the only one's on the tour, which was pretty cool too! Even though my wife and I are Protestant, we still thoroughly enjoyed learning more from the Catholic perspective. Of course, there's still plenty in common between the two perspectives, and seeing where Peter and Paul were under house arrest and prison made the New Testament stories have a new context. I'd highly recommend this tour, regardless of faith tradition, as I believe you will learn much and appreciate the trials of the earlier members of the Christian faith.

Bible Comes to Life!

Tom was fantastic in his knowledge and application of Biblical history and present-day archaeology. He helped us with recommendations and transport, even given a busy tour day and appointments that evening. Seeing the very spots where our favorites walked and gave their lives so that all might know the hope that lies in Christ was a privilege we'll never take for granted. To even have a tour of this nature in 2019 is a blessing itself.

Historical, spiritual and educational behind the scenes tour

Great tour for anyone interested in early Christian history in Rome. Our tour guide, Tom, was very knowledgeable and wove in historical and spiritual aspects of Peter and Paul in Rome. We started with a visit to an area of S. Maria in Via Lata that is not generally open to the public (under the church) and continued with a pleasant walk to the other sites, ending with a short subway ride to the last basilica "outside the walls." I never felt rushed and we had plenty of time to stop and reflect at these locations so important to early Christianity.

This tour was amazing!! The tour guide was SO knowledgeable! He did a superb job!! We enjoyed the walking, and being part of Rome's day to day life - taking the bus and subway.

Our tour guide, Adrian, was great and we enjoyed connecting with him since he was from our home state. However, this tour is severely overpriced in my opinion. Our entry tickets and subway tickets did not total over 25 Euro each, unfortunately we could have done this tour ourselves with Rick Steves and saved ourselves a lot of money.

My family and I were happy with the information we received on this tour and eager to see the places we visited on this tour. Adrian, our guide, was from our home state and we enjoyed the connection. He was informative and passionate about the subject and we felt like he was knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. The reason I didn't give this tour more stars is because I feel it is severely overpriced. Unfortunately, I feel like I could have saved a huge amount of money if I had downloaded a free walking tour and done the tour on our own, especially since only two of the places we visited had entrance fees of only 10 euros each. Disappointed in Viator, especially since I have used them frequently and never had an issue before with misrepresentation of their tours.

We absolutely LOVED this tour! Our guide, Adrian, was SO great and informative! We couldn't have been happier with how he guided us through the entire tour and answered all our questions! This tour was ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! A definite must!

Our guide spoke very good English and really seemed very knowledgeable about the subject. We were able to learn quite a bit about the church of St Peter and St Paul from him as well as a great deal of insight about the Christian faith of the 2 men.

By far this was one of my favorite tours. James was absolutely amazing and we really appreciated the extra time that he took to answer our questions. He also gave us a quick lesson on the best places for shopping and dining. He is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. The tour itself was breathtaking to say the least. The churches were breathtaking and it gave us a better understanding of what we had been taught in church. To be able to have a visual image of what you had only read previously was such a blessing. I highly encourage everyone to take this tour and request James as he was awesome!
