Dear Jane_M,
thank you for taking your time to write us a
detailed feedback.
We are really sorry that the tour did not meet your
expectations and we do take every feedback
seriously for improvement.
First off all I would like to say that our guides have been with us for years and we have always gotten great feedback as you can see on all the other reviews.
I have spoken with your guide and he explained the reason why he couldn’t access the meadow.
It was force majeure due to a series lethal accident. He explained that a farmer had a accident and died this morning. There was a rescue team from the local fire brigade and police and access was denied. He recommended to add some other highlights instead. He also told me that you insisted to go back at the end off the day although he clearly recommended not to as the recovery of the tractor and dead body might still be in progress. As it was a private tour you can decide and your guide went up the mountain again where you and your guide had to find out that the recovery was still in progress and therefore he decided not to drive up as recovery was in progress and the road was partly blocked. We think that this was a correct decision as it is a small community living on top of the hill and one off there family members had just passed away. As you wouldn’t accept the decision of your guide and the people working there you decided to get off the van and walk up the hill on your own. Although your guide was very uncomfortable with the situation he decided to follow.
We are sorry that you think that the tour was overpriced as you even got a free transfer to the train station where your guide was happy to help you to bring your luggage to the train.
If you compare our price with other companies you will clearly find out that our prices are very competitive. Also we only use luxury Mercedes vans and all of our guides are professionals that have been with us for many years.
Nevertheless, once again thank you for your time;
we are grateful for any feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused but it was out of our reach.
Best Regards
Thomas Herzl
