Our visit to beautiful Stockholm!!

Our visit to the Vasa museum and Abba was amazing …. We had a wonderful walk around the old part of Stockholm, enjoying restaurants… we also saw the palace and that was spectacular!! Loved this city!!

Poor directions and instructions to pick up site

Difficult to find the loading location by the train station. The provider tried to send a GPS pin, but the messaging system would not transmit the link.

Skip the Hop On Hop off

We waited for extended periods throughout the day for the bus. We decided to try our luck with the boat .The boat finally came after an hour wait, 5 people got off but we three were not allowed on as they were over capacity. Next boat would be another hour with no guarantee we could get on. Walked to bus stop. Bus finally came and was refused entry as driver did not recognize the digital ticket. After an argument, he let us on. They seemed unprepared for the volume of passengers, but kept selling tickets. Very disappointing.

What a wonderful way to learn a new country/town. The audioguide explained what the buildings wer, the time period and who ruled during that time. I also got the cruise which was a great way to see a different view of the city.

It was a fantastic way of getting round the city of Stockholm. The only drawback is there are two red buses, and it is confusing as to which one will allow you to travel on.

Good option if you have very limited time in Stockholm

The bus and boat combination was nice. One of the boats had broken down so they only run the service once every hour while the competitor next door was very frequent. However the staff kept smiling through it amongst the chaos which made most of the customers less bothered.

Good way to get around Stockholm and see the sights

Purchased the combo bud & boat . Used it all around Stockholm. Boat tour had canal and bay tours which were both excellent. Automated earphone info on board and buses was good . All personnel were very very polite and helpful . Just be aware that there are multiple companies that advertise Hop on and Hop Off so you need to recognize which one you have a ticket for . Pretty easy once you know there are multiple boats and buses from at least two companies. You can buy in person at kiosks at many locations around the city .

Useful but confusing ticket and short service time

It’s good to have a ticket cover land and water route. I bought the red bus hop on/off and always waited at their stations. Many times the driver kept saying that my ticket is for other companies, quite annoying and had to argue or take time to find the small ‘red’ word from the digital ticket’s multiple booking pages. Also, the last bus is about 5:20, quite early.

Circles …..

Well, we should have just hopped off ….. the driver did circles literally and skipped a stop. The overall tour as far as places to see were okay, the language narration devices were hard to figure out where to get them and the people coordinating the ticket booth were haphazard at best ….. yikes

The boat experience was excellent but the bus was a nightmare. We sat on a bus by cruise terminal for over 30 minutes and bus driver did not announce or tell us why the delay. Two buses came but wouldn’t let us get on after our driver told us to get on the new bus. It was awful. So awful I’m requesting a refund. No communication on the stops etc. will not recommend to my traveling friends.

Try to get on three different hop on hop off buses and all 3 of them rejected my viator ticket. Your site says downlarld red ss app and i did and still the bus driver said nope!

My family and I waited for 45min waiting on the bus, it never showed up. We took Uber to continue on the boat tour instead. Then caught the bus.

The Hop on Hop off spend 45 minutes at a ship terminal when 4 other buses were there. It was very disorganized. The bus did not follow the route posted on line or on the map and the driver did not announce the stops.

The boat trip was very nice. The bus was a bit crowded in the morning but it got better later on. This is an easy way to see all the interesting places in Stockholm.

The boat operators were friendly and answered all of our questions! The boats were prompt and they ran a few. It was so easy to get around and do slot in one day. We used the bud to get from one attraction to the other. A bit crowded but still nice.
