Vi erbjuder hotellhämtning i Taipei City centrum för bokningar med fler än 2 personer. För bokning med 1 eller 2 personer, kom till Westgate Hotel eller W Taipei för upphämtning. Westgate Hotel (No. 150, Section1, Zhonghua Road, Taipei City) ligger nära MRT Ximen Station, medan W Taipei (No. 10, Zhongxiao East Road Section 5, Xinyi District, Taipei City) ligger nära MRT City Hall Station. Vänligen ange din upphämtningsplats senast kl. 15.00 en dag före din turné. Annars kommer upphämtningsplatsen att ordnas på WESTGATE Hotel (nr. 150號, Section 1, Zhonghua Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan), dit du kan nå genom att ta MRT till Ximen station och gå dit. Tack för ditt samarbete. Upphämtningstiden kommer att vara mellan 08:00~09:00. Den exakta hämtningstiden och förarinformationen kommer att uppdateras till dig via meddelande en dag före denna turné.

Nice day trip but could have had a better guide

The geopark was the highlight for sure. The hyundai starts was comfortable for the drive. Max capacity of 6, which ended up being our group size. Enjoyed the fellow travelers! Only 3 stars because the driver Miao was just ok. Never accompanied us and didn't tell us much about the sights. English was ok, not great. Attitude ok, but not sure if he liked being a guide. Communication with the operator was good.

This is the worse tour I had from Viator due to the fact that I had booked for an English speaking tour guide, but had a Mandarin tour guide. It turns out he had to use an English/Mandarin translation app to communicate with us. We didn’t know where we were going and what the significance of the places. Our driver tried his hardest to communicate, but rarely spoke through out our tour. He was more of a chauffeur than a tour guide. Nice driver.

Joseph was amazing he was very informative. We had a great time at Jiufen, Shifen waterfall, the Yehliu geopark and the Pingxi lanterns. We didn’t light and send off a lantern because we didn’t think it was good for the environment. He was very knowledgeable about Taiwan history and we enjoyed listening to him.

I enjoyed this excursion to the various locations! We were given plenty of time to explore on our own and the driver, Jeffrey, had a lot of good information about the destinations and Taiwan in general. I booked the Mandarin tour and can understand Chinese fine but he was accommodating to those that couldn't and spoke decent English for their understanding. Getting to try the different foods at Jiufen was a highlight for me. Thanks!!

This tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Jefferey was extremely friendly, professional, smart, and helpful. He told us great stories about Taiwan and gave us amazing suggestions and recommendations on what to do and where to go. The tour group was small, about 5 people, and we went to multiple locations. Overall Id recommend this tour, ask for Jefferey!

Great Trip Out With A Wonderful Driver

Kenny greeted us and was very polite. He explained the tour well and gave us some suggestions for lunch at Jiufen. The rain was quite heavy at times and Kenny is always at the door with umbrellas ready for use. Overall, a nice trip and Kenny was a great driver keeping all of safe.

Great look at stuff outside of Taipei

Fun trip to see different things outside of Taipei. The guide/driver was professional and gave us ample time for each locations. The guide also gave us recommendations for good photos, food, and any other requests we had at the different stops. The locations were interesting, though we went on a bad day with rain so it was hard to get great pictures. But it has peaked my interested and I will definitely go to the locations again.

Our driver and tour guide Martin was absolutely wonderful- kind, helpful, and generous with his time and attention. He chaperoned us through the busy Juifen streets, helped with umbrellas when it drizzled, helped order lunch when we couldn’t figure out the language, and even found us a spot to rest our feet at a shop when the climb had us panting! His quiet caring was the cherry on the private trip that we could take at our own pace.

Yehliu Geipark was great: the ocean, the rocks… impressive! The other places were also very beautiful although Jiufen was a bit touristy. The driver was very nice: he drove very well and explained where we would go. We booked a mandarin driver but he tried to speek English!

Family tour with small group

We had a great tour of all the sites. John Chang was on time and explained how to get the most out of each site we visited. He also helped us take lots of photos. We seemed to be about 10 minutes ahead of the rush so it is good to try and leave Taipei before 8:15. The van was comfortable and the driver was excellent.

English guide spoke very little English

My wife and I signed up for English speaking tour which cost $90 per person. A Mandarin speaking guide was available for $40 per person, which I felt was a bit discriminatory but we went ahead with the booking. Upon arrival, our guide spoke very limited English and was not conversational. You can tell he was not comfortable speaking English. Because I am ethnically Chinese and can speak limited Chinese, I was able to communicate and learn more about history in the region. The stops were terrific and we especially loved the lantern festival. Overall, we very much enjoyed our day however, we would have paid for the Mandarin speaking guide and saved $100 USD If we had known how limited the driver’s English was. My wife does not speak Mandarin at all so I was translating for her the entire time. As an aside, I’m going to reach out to Viator and request a partial refund.

We write to thank Mr Kenny Hwang for a wonderful day trip to Yehliu, Jiufen and Shifen from Taipei. Kenny was punctual to pick us up at our hotel. He made a good introduction of himself and initiated conversations once we started off in his comfortable new and clean 9 seaters. Kenny shared fully on the journey and the highlights of the trip. All in, he was high spirited and his great sense of humour helped him to effectively establish a bond with all of us on the trip very quickly. And he is very helpful too. We would highly recommend Kenny for anyone who wishes to see Taiwan. Thankyou Kenny for making our trip an enjoyable and memorable one.

Wasn't the best for the cost. The "English" tour was dubble the price. Our guide didn't speak to well. Was sometimes hard to understand him. For the cost we paid, it was definitely not worth it in my opinion. Also it was extremely fast. The first stop at the geopark we only had 1hr when apparently we we supposed to have 1.5hrs. We couldn't see much of anything as it was extremely rush. The water falls were fine and we had 2hrs at the tea house area. It was 6 of us total on the tour 3 of my family and 3 of another family. As the other family spoke mandarin the guide seemed to favor them with information and talking time.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide. 1 hour at the first destination is a bit rush as there were lots of people and need to wait to take photos. The day was full on but each attraction was beautiful and really worth visiting.

We didn’t go to Shifen Waterfall and basically we just had a person driving us to each attraction. We were back at Taipei Main Station by 4:20 because of concern about the traffic.

We have investigated the situation with the driver, and on that particular day, due to spending more time in the old streets, we found ourselves closer to the park's closing time when heading to the Shifen Waterfall. The driver informed all passengers that entering at that moment would require a quick pace, as the park would soon close. After discussing with everyone on board, the decision was made to skip the Shifen Waterfall and head back directly. At that time, we did not receive any indication from you expressing a strong desire to proceed to the waterfall. If you had voiced your preference at the time, the driver would have accommodated your request. We apologize for the inadequate communication that led to your decision not to visit the Shifen Waterfall. We assure you that we will place a stronger emphasis on education and training, as well as improving communication to better understand the specific needs of each passenger.
