Jag skulle ge mer än 5 stjärnor till Budget Friendly Tours för att göra denna resa till en perfekt. Det började med en underbar introduktion och sedan var alla platser de täckte under den här resan inte bara vackra utan även deras guide Nicholas såg till att allt har förklarats för oss ordentligt. Under turen kunde jag välja olika saker som att åka på en gunga, en traditionell måltid på en restaurang, sedan valde jag att åka skärmflygning även om jag också kunde ha åkt snöskoter och till sist bestämde jag mig för att övernatta i Kazbegi. Där kunde jag bo på hotellet rekommenderat av Hercules, som skötte alla arrangemang och även rekommenderade ett annat ställe att äta middag och övernatta på, det var toppen. Definitivt rekommenderad upplevelse.

Besök till bergskedjan Kaukasus medan du är i Georgien är ett måste! Denna turné erbjuder fantastisk utsikt, landskap och till och med en chans att prova skärmflygning (extra kostnad - 300 GEL). Vår turné visade sig vara en privat rundtur eftersom vi var de enda deltagarna. Vår reseguide, Sophie, tog mycket väl hand om oss (tillsammans med vår chaufför som tog oss säkert till alla platser och sedan tillbaka till Tbilisi :)) och var alltid där för att svara på våra frågor. Hon gav oss tillräckligt med tid på varje plats för att utforska på egen hand efter att ha berättat historien om platser vi såg och besökte. Vi ändrade vår resplan lite och nämligen: vi bestämde oss för att hoppa över att besöka Trinity Church och stannade till för lunch på Rooms Hotel Kazbegi (mycket utsökt mat och ett så mysigt ställe för lunch/middag). Jag körde också skärmflygning vilket var jättekul! Jag rekommenderar definitivt turnén!

Extremely fun day tour

Fantastic daytrip. Together with our guide Givi aka Freddie we had a terrific day. He is so positive and energetic and made sure everybody was having a great time. Even though because of snow we couldn't see Kazbegi, he was quick to make some other new terrific plans to make sure our day was fantastic. He knows a lot about various different topic and loves to chat with everyone. The sights were all terrific, even despite the weather being awful. As a replacement for Kazbegi we went to Mtskheta and the Chronicle of Georgia. In Mtskheta we were even invited to a wine house to do a spontaneous wine tasting with shots of liquor included. All free of charge. Amazing value for money and a guaranteed fun day. Also I shouldnt forget that our driver Zaza was spotless as well, through some difficult roads.

The best tour guide and tour group experience ever! Hercules was very kind, funny, full of energy, and knew his Georgian history very well. Soso, our driver, was very good with managing through winding roads, even in the rain and snow! Unfortunately the views at Kazbegi were very foggy with no visibility - highly suggest looking at the weather ahead of time and avoiding the rain. Also, check the temperature specifically at Kazbegi as it was 30 degrees (Fahrenheit) lower than Tbilisi when we went, and we were unprepared for the cold
