High highs and low lows

This tour was good overall. The views of Teide above the clouds at sunset were stunning, literally the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen. I do have three specific criticisms: 1) the food at the restaurant was terrible; 2) the stargazing was underwhelming (this was partly due to clouds but even then I was expecting to see a lot more stars); and 3) definitely bring some motion sickness meds for the drive home down the winding mountain roads. Overall I would say it was worth it for the sunset views alone, but there were definitely things that could be improved.

Brilliant experience! Highly recommended! Tanya and Moses were lovely, Tanya gave a really interesting description on the history of Tenerife, and fun facts about the volcanos and forests around. Highlight of the experience was definitely watching the sunset and then stragazing with the telescopes and learning so many interesting things about constellations and how to navigate in the night sky!

The best experience in Tenerife

Wow, this was the best experience we have ever had in Tenerife. From start to finish there was exceptional information from our amazing guide Isabelle. She was informative and very funny and gave us an amazing experience from start to finish. Would 100% recommend go anyway I will forever remember the amazing memories made that evening!

Amazing experience!!!

We were a little bit uncertain heading off on this trip as there were quite some mixed reviews. However we enjoyed every minute of the trip. Our guide was so informative and funny. The stops along the way were wonderful, fabulous opportunities to view different landscapes. The sunset was out of this world and it was made even better with the Cava. The dinner was tasty (just remember you are eating basically in the middle of nowhere, so don’t be expecting Michelin star dining) plenty of wine and soft drinks for everyone. The star gazing, there are no words, this was spectacular, it does get quite cold but I would have appreciated some extra time to admire the stars. Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend.

Sunset in the clouds and stargazing. Victor was an amazing guide- provided a lot of information in an entertaining way. Food was not great and took long to serve but with such quantity of tourists that's smth to be expected..

A great time!

We really loved our afternoon and evening out with Teide by Night. The stops we made were just long enough to enjoy and get some really nice pictures. Our guide was very friendly and knew a lot about Tenerife and about the stars. It definitely was cold when we stopped for the sunset, and for the stargazing, so as much as you don’t want to pack your winter gear for Tenerife, see what you can jam in the suitcase! The dinner was fine, we enjoyed chatting with other people from the trip, and the service was quick and efficient. It’s hard to cook a five star meal for that many people, so set your expectations.

Our guide, Victor, was very good. He gave us lots of valuable and interesting information about Tenerife and about the stars and space. Personally I was not very impressed by the telescopes. The sunset, however, was georgeous.

My spectacular day out

Getting off the bus where the crater is and climbing to the viewing platform then being absolutely speechless. The views were absolutely amazing. The sunset and stargazing experience were both outstanding. The tour guide Daniel ( Danny ) was very informative throughout with a great sense of humour chucked in . I would highly recommend this trip

Great excursion for those with limited time

An interesting and informative tour. Some insight into the history of Tenerife and it's people as well as the natural environment of the island. Well organised and friendly guide and driver. My only niggle is that star gazing was over too quickly but given the age range of the tour group, the cold and the terrain, its understandable but a shame as I personally love astronomy.

Excellent experience,our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and especially the stargazing. The sunset with cava was amazing. Fantastic photo opportunities throughout the tour . Stargazing with laser pen guidance and then looking through the telescopes was a great experience. You need warm clothing as it gets very cold in the Teide national park but they do provide blankets as well. The dinner stop was a well oiled experience and good value. I was especially grateful for the gluten free meal as I have coeliac.

The most amazing day from start to finish. Some fantastic photo spots and the stars were beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable which added to the experience. Would 100% recommend this to anyone. One thing to point out is if you suffer from travel sickness then make sure you take your anti sickness tablets! It is very high with the altitude difference and the roads wind around the mountain all the way up and down.

Wow - amazing experience and a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour. The drinks and snacks were very welcome as it was cold. Some great photo opportunities along the way and seeing the planets through the telescopes was fascinating. The laser torch was helpful to see the constellations. Unfortunately, the food at dinner was not great. The soup was delicious but the main course was poor, low quality and no taste. The veggie option looked great but was equally tasteless. It would have been tastier just to serve the soup. The rest was great.

A must do in Tenerife

Our guide was Isabel, the best tour guide we've ever had! So much fun, entertaining and also educational. This trip is a definite must for anyone who's interested in astronomy and want to know more about Tenerife. 10/10 recommend! The dinner at the restaurant could have been a bit more tasty, but that's on the restaurant 🙈
