Utmärkt guide, rolig och intressant turné

Vincent hämtade oss i tid i sitt bekväma fordon och tog oss in i Loire-dalen för att dela med oss hans omfattande kunskap om vinframställning. Han är en utmärkt kommunikatör, och hans engagerande och vänliga sätt gjorde detta till en mycket trevlig upplevelse. Vi besökte en privat vingård, med en rundtur i kalkstentunnlar och ett vinframställningssamarbete. Provsmakningen, med ostar och kött, var verkligen utmärkt och lärorik. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna turné!

A nicely curated and guided tasting - great intro to wines of the region

Simon was a very knowledgeable guide. Two good wineries - first part of the visit at Vouvray cave where we were wandering in the dark with just a phone light was maybe a little odd, but it improved quickly from there. Very generous selection of wines.

Excellent tour. Our guide Pierre was very nice, very knowledgeable on wines making, gave us a great tour of the two vineyards. The wine tasting with cheese and meat was delicious. Highly recommend this tour with Pierre.

One of a kind, personal experience!!

After a miscommunication about the tour start time, Vincent personally went out of his way to accommodate us and gave us a personal private tour. The tour itself was excellent and we learned a lot about the entire process of wine making, from growing of the grapes to the different methods of fermentation to the bottling. Each wine we tried was delightful, and Vincent clearly explained the process behind it. He was happy to accommodate our tastes and preferences and kindly answered any questions we had. It was really a special experience and I’m so happy we decided to do it.

Vincent was great! Very informative and answered everyone’s questions about everything wine. The wine was wonderful as well as the charcuterie that went with them. We wanted to spend more time learning and drinking the excellent wines of the areas. We would definitely do it again!

This tour was extremely informative and our guide did a great job of answering many questions from the small group (only 6 in total). We had the opportunity to test at least 8-10 varieties at each of the locations, which were both super interesting.

Great tour! Vincent was an excellent tour guide. He took us to two tastings....one vineyard and one cave production site. He was extremely knowledgeable in the entire vineyard wine process. He also brought a small charcuterie tray with baguette toast and Les Rillettes de Canard. The Les Rilettes are so delicious. The wine was delicious. Very Enjoyable!

Brilliant half day wine tour

Vincent was a tremendous host. He had a great knowledge of the wines and sparklings from the Loire Valley. He explained so much to us and showed as the processes of making wine and sparkling from start to finish. He provided quite a number of tastings as well as cheese and meat plates. He even provided the service of sending some sparkling Home free of charge. We had such a great half day and would highly recommend this tour.

Authentic wine experience

Vincent was an expert guide who made the tour and authentic experience. Starting deep in the cave for a unique tasting and finishing with a more traditional tasting added interest. One quick note to Viator - your website and app had conflicting meeting points and length. Glad we found Vincent.

We booked this tour because of the excellent reviews. It did not disappoint! Emmanuel was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and an overall excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine information in addition to the wine tasting and light snacks. It is exactly as described and we had a great time with our family of 5. Thank you Vincent and Emmanuel!
