100/10! My favorite excursion in Trinidad

This tour was amazing!! Nick was very friendly, informative, accommodating, funny and so much more. He really is the best. The hike wasn't too strenuous. It was about a 20 minute hike to the waterfall. The views were absolutely gorgeous and Nick was very patient with us (as we are not the most in shape group lol). The beach was a nice ending to the tour with lunch included. You must try the bake and shark, it was amazing! 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend.

This was such a great day! The drive is a bit long from the cruise port but very worth it! The waterfalls are amazing! Marlon, our driver, was such a fun guide. Highly recommend!

Off the beaten Path

Awesome tour. This tour Includes a ling csr ride through winding roads. Nausea is a major concern. Also water shoes or footwear is needed as you will he hiking along and in a river. You will be getting wet. The experience was amazing and the waterfall is beautiful. Maracas beach is awesome and the bake and shark is great. Bring cash as food was not included. Our guide Nick was exceptional and took his time guiding us through the hike making sure we were safe.

An experience that will be memorable for sure!

Well, it didn't start off good, because Nick was not truthful, and did not let us know he was not the tour guide, waiting for him to show up, I called and then he told me our tour guide Denton is on the way but there was traffic..... I was PISSED.. Fast forward an hour later, Denton showed up and it was indeed a beautiful day, and tour. Our experience were amazing and the trek to the waterfall was lovely. We saw many beautiful beached and at the end we stopped by Uncle Sam's for Shark & Bake, unfortunately they were out, it was a let down, since that's their specialty. And yes, Denton was a wonderful guide.

A MUST DO IN TRINIDAD

This tour is absolutely a MUST do when visiting Trinidad. This is definitely one of the best ways to see the island and to skip the crowds. Honestly one of our favorite tours we've ever done. Our guide, Denton, was awesome and very fun to have for the day. He was super knowledgeable and very accommodating. Deff make a request for him if you book this. The waterfall itself was amazing. After a decent drive into the forest you reach the start of the trail. The trail itself is about 20ish minutes each way and very beautiful. The trail is pretty unkempt but that made it more fun. Arriving to the waterfall is super rewarding after the hike and quick swim across the calm river. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful and really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. We didn't see one other person our entire time there and had it all to ourselves. Afterwards, Denton took to us multiple stops including lunch at Maracas beach, another secluded beach spot, some scenic overlooks, a cool bridge, and of course a local bar for some drinks. Definitely book this tour if you are trying to escape from the normal crowds.

What an amazing adventure! Our tour guide was on point! Knew all the the local places and educated us on the history of Trinidad. He was very cautious of our surroundings during the hike to the waterfall. Being able to wade in the water and bend the curve and see one of the most amazing views ever was absolutely breath taking! I highly recommend this experience!
