A worthwhile experience

John was a magnificent tour guide. We lucked a magnificent sunrise. The walk at Kata Tjuta was good but a pretty limited experience of Kata Tjuta. Walpa Gorge is an interesting gorge, but not in itself overly spectacular. I realise that options for exploring Kata Tjuta are limited. A tour from 5:30 to 9:30 is difficult for those staying in hotels as breakfast is not available outside these hours. The tour itself was very well run.

Great trip, staff knowledge was excellent and the views amazing. Heaps of photo opportunities, and the walking was not strenuous. There was an 80 year old man on our tour who was a little out of breath by the end but the young children and everyone else on the bus had no trouble.

Great way to see Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa. The guide, Jacob, was very knowledgeable and engaging. We got to spend loads of time at both locations and took fantastic memories away with us.

When travelling to Uluru, you must not miss Kata Tjuṯa. This tour was great - watching the sun rise and then driving to Kat Tjuta to do the Waḻpa Gorge walk, which is really beautiful. Even our teenage girls enjoyed this tour.

The Sunrise was perfect me and my Husband really enjoy. And our Tourguide Glen and Trecy they where great. Glen as a Aboriginals was able to answer me all the questions I had and he was really patient. I just can regomment AAT Kings as a Agency!!

Photos and videos of Uluru and Kata Tjuta do not do them justice. Nothing beats the experience of seeing these wonders from close up. I took this excursion on 6/12/23, and I'm sorry about forgetting the driver and guide's names, but they were both excellent. The driver for her humour and driving, and the guide for her depth of knowledge.

The sunrise at uluru was magical. We were taken to a viewing area that was a perfect spot to view the sunrise. Then we went to Kata tjuta and the guide gave us lots of interesting information on the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

AAT Kings did a phenomenal job (Betty) taking us to the sunrise point and then to Kata Tjuta. The walk to the Walpo Gorge is strenuous in a few areas and needs flexible, pliable shoes. It was cloudy when we visited, so we couldn't see the sunrise, but it was still worth it.

Great way to view two sacred sites!

The trip was very organized and punctual. They picked us up from the resort and then we had about 40 min in Uluru to view the sunrise. After the sunrise, we quickly made our way to Kata Tjuta for a hike. The weather was great the day we went so the hike actually felt short but I think in hotter weather it would have felt longer. The sites were beautiful and our guide actually showed us another viewing site before heading back to the hotel to view Kata Tjuta from the south side. There are a few minor items I would recommend they improve on: communicate a bit better before the trip, including exact pick up time (we were told exact pick up time a few weeks before but were told to email to confirm the day before); be clear about the exact itinerary and what time we’d be back at the resort. We picked our flight going out the next day because we didn’t want to miss the flight on the tour but it turns out they time their sunrise tour to make it in time to the airport shuttles; give more time in Uluru after the sunrise. I would be fine with the last viewing getting cut if we could get more time in Uluru. Overall, recommend this company (Debbie and Tracey were great)!

I don't think it said anywhere that you had to buy a Nationsl Park pass to go on the tour. Lickily the hotel desk clerk knew and i bought the pass I was surprised that we did not see the sun come up over Uluru, but rather it's reflection off the rock as it came up behind us. Still beautiful. Driver and guide personable and full of information- local history and geologic history.

We booked this trip and we’re given the wrong starting time. You had 5.00am start and the bus left at 4.45am for the tour. There were six people that booked with Viator and missed out on doing so due to misinformation

After starting with a misty, overcast sunrise at the Ulura viewing area, we were a bit disappointed in our outing...not the glorious sunrise we had hoped for. Then came a most wonderful surprise as we arrived at Kata Tjuda! A gentle rain had brought waterfalls and beautiful silver "ribbons" coming down the rock formations, and wildflowers lined our walking path. Fresh, cool air made the hike and views wonderful and enjoyable. Four stars instead of five, as our guide was fairly new and did not provide as much background and info as we had hoped for. That said, the length and itinerary of this tour was just perfect for us.
