Great Segway experience at Uluru!

Our Segway adventure was awesome! We were able to visit the Kapi Matitjulu water hole and learning cave with great narrative by our guide Nick. We took the Segway out to visit a few caves and a waterfall. Lots of fun and great guide!

Uluru - hot, but worth it

Seeing Uluru up close, hearing native stories and enjoying the shade while waiting for sunset. Nick and Haley were superb in handling the heat exhaustion our friend experienced.

Hayley our guide was very professional and welcoming. Although not recommended for over 65's I had no problems. I think it is more about fitness and balance than age. A very enjoyable experience.

Lap around the rock with ease

High quality guides, our guide was just finishing her probation but if they hadn’t mentioned it b we would not have known as she was very knowledgable and professional. Super views of the rock as you zoom around it and hear its history and cultural heritage.

A good way to see the rock from up close

It was a good tour overall, but at the same time we were a bit disappointed. We thought and understood that the Segway segment of the tour was going to be much longer and it just lasted about 45 minutes. We purchased the tour thinking it would be mostly on Segways and it was mostly on foot. The guide was friendly, but he was not interested in us really learning or understanding the Uluru...all his explanations were as quick, as simple and as boring as possible. More enthusiastic, learning oriented guides are better for something like this.

Hi Ari, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you felt misinformed about our Uluru's Best & Segway Tour. As we have a variety of different tour options our brochures and website clearly state that this tour only takes in the most scenic parts of the base of Uluru and includes several guided walks. Our team at the Tourist Information Centre also explain this to guests when discussing our tours. As we are aware it is different from our Sunrise & Uluru By Segway Tours which go the entire way around Uluru and don't want people to book the incorrect activity for their desires. I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't find your guide to be entertaining or enjoyable. Usually we get rave reviews about our team. The whole experience was enjoyable. The guides were very patient. We remained upright. We enjoyed the guided tour around parts of the rock. We possibly would have preferred to go further around the rock but time did not permit. All in all a lovely afternoon which everyone enjoyed.

Best tour at Uluru

The guides were terrific, great at training on using the Segway, highly knowledgeable on the tour. I learnt a lot about Uluru and its history and geology. Watching the sunset over Uluru was magical. This tour was the highlight of our time in Uluru.
