Great transportation from airport, however, disappointing in its entirety. Not useful nor available.

Good option but they have a low frequency, every half hour Orange line, and in Winter you only have access to two lines. If you don't need the transportation during your stay just buy the ticket for the route from Marco Polo Airport to San Mark's square, it will be much more cheaper.

Decided to use Alluguna public water taxi to get from the airport to the cruise terminal. Big mistake. It took two hours and my wife was almost sea sick. There are two public water taxis and some schedules are better than others.The other service called Act-tv. The lines are very short and you would be better off to book it when you arrive. There was some kind of problem with my voucher and it took several minutes for them to figure it out. Finally if you have an early flight you might not be able to arrive in time using the public system. It cost me 130 euros to get to the airport by private water taxis for a 6:00am flight since their was no other choice available.

We where in Venice for three days so thought the 72 hour pass would be a good option. Generally it was but we did find that Allaguna who the ticket is with have a limited service and whilst the boats where not as crowded as the main provider, they did not service as many stops. A good option if you intend to focus on the grand canal.

They did a good job with the shuttles, but we stayed on Murano and I think the pass for the city transports would have been a better choice as they had more stops closer to us and more times.

I bought 72 hour unlimited passes for myself and two other people we got to Venice exited the train station and redeemed our voucher the in the station Alilaguna office. This is where I should have stopped. First the person behind the counter was rude, and questioned my vouchers but finally redeemed them. The Alilaguna stops are hard to find. We tried to board a Alilaguna boat only to be told no, he was going to only one more stop. Finally got on a boat taking us to a stop near the hotel .25mile. Next day tried again and was rudely told no, not going our way we just wanted to take a tour ride in any direction. This is when I tore up my 72 hour passes and got ACTV instead. They have more stops and are cheaper. Do not get this transport pass for Venice!!!!
