Emma (förare) var definitivt ett plus - väldigt informativt & charmigt utan att vara snäll eller en "konserverad" presentation. Absolut ett roligt sätt att se det inre hamnområdet och upptäcka viktorianska hem i James Bay

Carriage ride in dark

Came in on NCL Encore cruise which didn't allow us to depart ship until 8:30pm (suppose to be 8pm). Therefore the 9pm carriage ride was 50% in dark. Not Carriage company fault. Narration was good. Interesting little known facts told by driver. Chilly eve but they had blankets to offer for warmth. Would have enjoyed more in daylight as Beacon Hill Park isn't lite well as some advertisements falsely illustrate. Would recommend to others but do it in daylight so you can actually see all items talked about.

Excursion was late in departing which was a big negative as it became so dark that we couldn’t see much. The excursion was cut 20 minutes as we were allowed to get off at the cruise terminal so that we didn’t have to walk back so far in the darkness. We couldn’t see much anyway so thus was our best option. Emma (driver) and Ike ( horse) were great!

Go with tally-ho instead

The booking times didn’t match with Victoria carriage. The carriages old and ugly. The poor horses sick and mean.

We had some miscommunication about getting to the pick up spot and our driver was so kind and gracious about picking us up. The kids loved the tour around the city and hearing some of the ghost stories.

It was a chilly night and they had blankets for us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a great time. It was a wonderful way to tour that area and something that we probably would have never done as tourists.

We made a mistake in where they were picking us up. Thought by our cruise ship, but it was downtown. Cost. Us a extra cab ride. Ride was nice especially when we saw a deer in the park. Maybe make sure people know pickup point on day of excursion. Downtown and pier are not close.

Elsie the horse was so sweet. She and her driver took us along an informational late night tour of Victoria. It’s a quaint, fun, and clean city. We were only there for a couple of hours, so this hour tour was perfect. We would definitely do it again. Elsie was even so kind as to return us to our cruise ship.

Our tour did not go as planned... helpful hints: If you do have access to a telephone i.e cruise ship passengersand cannot reconfirm do not book. Just walk up to the provider and book it yourself right there and have just as much chance of going. It is a 45 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal. It's not strenuous and is beautiful but part of your walk will be on your tour. Do not go to Beacon hill in the dark. They do not have lights and you cannot see how beautiful it is. We were not taken deep into the park as advertised so I don't know much more than the main road but we didn't see much.

We enjoyed our trip to Victoria. We had my 88 year old mother in law with us and she really had a good time. The carriage ride was wonderful. We were fortunate to have a young lady give us the tour. She had good energy and was very knowledgeable.

Maddy did a fine job of telling us about the houses and sections of the city we traveled through. This is a comfortable and relaxed way to see some of the sights. I recommend the one hour tour. For us this was a birthday present to our daughter and she loved it.
