Fantastisk upplevelse

Turnén var mycket informativ och vi lärde oss mycket. Guiden var kunnig och talade mycket tydlig engelska. Vi hade två små barn som också gillade det, eftersom det var mycket familjevänligt. Vagnturen var ett bra sätt att se staden och släppte av på en mycket bekväm plats för att fortsätta vår utforskning av Wien. Observera att vagnen rymmer en liten barnvagn mycket enkelt.

Fascinerande turné

Hade en trevlig morgon med att ta reda på lite mer om historien kring wienska Flakers. Det var också kul att höra hur hästarna sköts och tränas. Stallet var välskött. Informationen gavs på tyska och sedan engelska så det tog lite längre tid men gav min dotter en möjlighet att öva på sina tyska lyssnarfärdigheter. Jag kunde bara ha tagit en tur med häst och vagn runt staden men att börja i stallet först gjorde det bara ännu mer speciellt. Skulle definitivt rekommendera till alla med barn också.

Härlig och informativ morgon

Den unge mannen som höll föredraget på både tyska och flytande engelska var verkligen intressant och han välkomnade frågor, och som en livslång hästälskare blev jag fascinerad. Det följdes av en trevlig bilresa tillbaka till stadens centrum. En av våra medpassagerare pratade med vår chaufför och översatte vänligt åt oss. Hästarna är väldigt uppenbart väldigt väl omhändertagna och absolut inte överarbetade.

Så fungerar de Wienerhästdragna vagnarna

Intressant sätt att ta reda på hur de hästdragna vagnarna fungerar. Man möts vid stallet och visas hur vagnarna monteras och hästarna förses med selar. Vi fick också lite historik om tillkomsten av vagnarna, hur många hästar det handlar om och vad de olika personalen gör. När vagnarna och hästarna är utsorterade lastas gästerna och körs sedan från stallet in till staden. Detta tar ungefär en timme och ger en bra uppfattning om hur yttre Wien ser ut. Bra valuta för pengarna. Turnén gick på tyska och engelska på vår dag

Hela rundturen i stallet var utmärkt. Men vår hästvagnsguide visade inte oss eller berättade något för oss på vägen till vår avlämning som skulle vara en guidad tur. Så fort han tappade oss plockade han upp ytterligare en uppsättning passagerare och började genast prata.

Regarding the one point you have been criticizing we want to point out that we really try to display clearly that the way from the stables to the city centre is not equal to an actual roundtrip in the city centre. That's also mirrored in the price. So the coachman is in this case not the guide - since there are not many historic sights on the way from the stables to the city centre. The tour focuses more on the behind the scenes information and the guided tour at the stables, the ride itself is a wonderful add on. This is how we want this experience to be seen. But hopefully we may welcome you soon again.

Den här turen började vid stallet (som definitivt är utanför allfarvägen) och det var fantastiskt att höra hur hästarna lever, tas om hand och vakar över. Resan in till stan, även om den inte var alltför naturskön, var trevlig och vi körde förbi flera kyrkor och monument.

Prisvärd vagnresa. Rundturen i stallet var mycket intressant. Även om resan från stallet till centrum inte var den mest natursköna, var det ca. 1 timme lång och vi njöt väldigt mycket.

As we found out our "Secrets of the Fiaker" Tour didn't meet your expectations for 100%. We do understand that the ride from our stables to the city centre is not a classic horse-carriage ride through the historic city centre. We really try to clarify this in all descriptions of the package. The focus of our "Secrets of the Fiaker" Tour you booked is really on getting a look behind the scenes of our daily routines with the horses. So you had the guided tour at our stables, from there you took the carriage to the city centre - which is an hour ride, but of course not as scenic as a ride in the historic centre. To be fair enough, a ride in the historic centre has a much higher price than our guided stable tour incl. the ride. Our guided stable tour + ride is meant to give you these interesting insights as mentioned. We want to apologize if that came across different. First of all we want to thank you that you found the guided stables tour interesting and that you had a good time there. On the other hand it's unfortunate to hear that you didn't enjoy the actual ride, after the tour from the stables to the city centre, or that you have expected something different. We do know that the ride from our stables isn't as attractive as a ride in the actual city centre itself – but we think that the moderate price displays that. Besides that we really try to point out that this experience you took is more to discover the behind the scenes happenings. The ride with the carriage is seen as an add on to get from our stables to the city centre. We are sorry, if that didn't come across from the actual description of the experience. Abbiamo imparato molte cose sui cavalli da carrozza: forse bisognerebbe aggiungere qualche dettaglio anche sulle carrozze. Il punto di partenza è in una zona periferica, ma il lungo giro in carrozza, che termina in pieno centro, è davvero bello!
