Mycket tråkigt. Besökte endast 3 matställen. Två med två matalternativ (matkvaliteten var bra) och den tredje var två shots infunderad vodka, ingen mat. Guiden var inte särskilt tillmötesgående med information och den totala upplevelsen var ganska tråkig och definitivt inte valuta för pengarna

Cezar kontaktade mig när jag inte kunde hitta honom på torget, vilket var mycket välkommet. Den mest minnesvärda delen var maten och hans lättsamma attityd. Hans insikt i områdets historia var mycket välkommen. Jag hade också tur att den andra medlemmen i turnégruppen var fantastisk att umgås med. Jag skulle rekommendera detta för alla som vill utforska området, det polska köket och dess historia och inte vill tillbringa en hel sex timmars dag med det. Fantastisk upplevelse.

Caesar var en bra guide. Jag njöt av all mat; det räckte till en måltid. Min favorit var fläskknogen men Hunter's Stew var en nära andra. Flera vodkaprovningar ingick också. Restaurangerna var också intressanta. En var i en före detta klockares hus. Den hade en klocka i golvet. En annan var i en av få byggnader som överlevde andra världskriget. Alla var i Gamla Stans torg-området så det var inte mycket promenader.

Min man och jag var de enda gästerna på turnén så det slutade med att det blev en privat rundtur. Vår guide var Zelinka. Hon kom i tid, satte fart på turnén och gav informativa tips om Gamla Stans historia och polsk mat. Vårt första stopp var för aptitretad tallrik med kallskuret med shot av vodka. Vårt andra stopp var att prova brödskålssoppa. Vårt 3:e stopp för förrätten bestod av perorgi och fläskknoge, potatis och kål. Vårt sista stopp var att prova vodka. All mat vi åt var utsökt och riklig. Vi var mätta i slutet. Zelinka var trevligt sällskap och vi njöt mycket av turnén.

Upplev den polska kulturen genom köket. Förhållandet mellan gång och mat var perfekt, vi behövde inte gå långt för att uppleva varje restaurang. Förberedelserna för varje ställe var fantastiska... knappast någon väntan. Slutligen var vår guide Zelinka mycket kunnig och vänlig... vi hade en utmärkt tid.

En utmärkt turné med Patrick, vår guide. Maten var naturligtvis utsökt. Ännu viktigare gav vår guide oss all den information vi eventuellt skulle kunna ha om mat, polsk historia och kultur. Hans tid var mycket uppskattad.

Pretty good but might not be for everyone

I thought it was very an interesting and wonderful experience to have experienced the food/drinks at five different restaurants. However, the distance from the third to fourth place was somewhat far, and that walking distance may not be suitable for some older folks.

The tour lasted less than 3 hours. I am not sure why the tour wasnt cancelled because I was the only participant. And the host did not seem too interested. I learned very little about food in general in Poland or about the 2 dishes we had, or the vodka at the end. Both dishes were good.

Avoid This Tour!

Extremely overpriced and overall a pretty negative experience. Guide was not local and didn't seem to know anything about Warsaw or Polish cuisine. The last stop was cut from the tour with no explanation so we just left. Have been trying to claim a refund for (at minimum) the last stop as we'd prepaid for it but no luck. AVOID THIS TOUR.

Terrible tour

Terrible value, vastly overpriced. Guide verged on useless and couldn’t even tell us what we were eating even though she ordered it. To get to the last restaurant we walked in silence for 30 minutes before we told her to forget it. A waste of an evening.

Awesome food tour in Warsaw

We met our guide Cesar, and another couple, in the Old Town Square. We then went to 4 different restaurants. Each restaurant was a different course. Cesar was very knowledgeable and explained to us everything we were eating. We had the opportunity to eat food that we might not have tried on our own. The food was delicious and the restaurants were lovely and the staff at each restaurant made us feel very welcome. It was a really great experience, with a great guide. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Not worth the money

Really not worth the money or the time! Cesar was a lovely man but I'm not sure why he thinks he is a tour guide for food! A. He didn't tell us much about the food, B. He wasn't particularly engaging in conversation C. He ate more of the food than the guests and mostly no one was particularly full up at the end of the tour. Good idea but poorly executed

Not worth the money

The idea of the food tour was good, and the food was actually alright and fun to try. Unfortunately we had a pretty bad guide. He didn’t really explain anything, he basically just walked to the restaurants and said the name of the dish and that was it. When starting the tour he literally said “you can just ask me”…. And then he didn’t really say much more. No stories, no fun facts, no historic facts, no showing the city. I’ve never been on a guided tour with a guide that didn’t talk unless you asked specific questions. You might as well just book a table at any polish restaurant in the city and ask for a polish dish and then google some history on the dish. This will save you a lot of money and you will actually also learn much more than we did on this tour. Definitely not worth the money.
