En riktigt lång dagstur, men i slutändan absolut värt det att se stoppen på vägen, men speciellt linbanan och Tatev-klostret!

Det var så fantastiskt att resan bara var på engelska! Jag önskar att fler resor endast är på engelska för icke-rysktalande. Marina var den bästa reseguiden jag har haft på flera år. Och busschauffören var utmärkt i körningen och i sitt uppträdande också. Både hon och han är djurhållare för ditt företag. Sammantaget var den här utflykten den bästa jag har haft i Armenien hittills. Och noravank och tatev var fantastiska. Noravank är min favorit hittills.

En dag full av otroliga minnen

Det var en fantastisk heldagstur. Var redo! Ta med dig lite snacks. Vi besökte otroliga platser. Speciellt Tatev-klostret. Det var imponerande. Försök att fånga en bra plats i linbanan - Vänster sida i fronten. Vi var en blandad grupp vilket inte var perfekt (engelska + ryska). Lunchen var okej. Middagsstoppet var mycket uppskattat eftersom alla svalt.

This was a very long trip, but was definitely worth the trip. The bus driver drove safely and the guide was very informative (she wasn’t a friendly type of guide but was professional in explaining the sites).

Amazing action-packed tour seeing large parts of Armenia. The driver & our tour guide was amazing giving great details about the history of each of the stops we made. Also enjoyed a very nice homemade lunch.

Lengthy trip - but worth it

Very informative trip with a perfectly organized guide Anait. The day packed with activities and sites. The highlights were the view of mount Ararat, and the scenic cable car ride over the mountains in Tatev. On a more technical side, be prepared for quite a lengthy ride back to Yerevan as it takes around 6 hours to drive back on a narrow mountain road.

Tigran our guide was excellent. The program was very good, but i highly recomend to change the program in the cablecar. It would be easier and faster the was back also with cablecar, because the road is stucked, narrow and hard to do it if there is an accident

This was a great day which covered a LOT of ground. Hamas was an enthusiastic and informative guide who helped us all to get the most out of the day. The driver (sorry, didn't get his name) knew the road well which makes all the difference. It would be just about impossible (and very unwise) to cover this itinerary on your own. The roads are 'challenging' and having someone who knows them is pretty much essential. A lovely day, travelling through beautiful and spectacular countryside. It is a long day - don't plan much for the following day - but fabulous.

Each of the monastery sites were spectacular, unique and the knowledgable guide was able to fill in a lot of the history and relevance of the buildings and surrounding areas. The Rope way “flight” was smooth and stunning views of the pristine Forrest beneath and the green steep gorge slopes.

This tour and company absolutely exceeded all of my expectations thanks to a well plan out itinerary, staff, and accommodations. Our tour guide Anahit was very informative, not to mention incredibly kind. Araik our bus driver was also really great, especially considering the distance and conditions he had to drive thru. I would absolutely reccomend this tour agency, guides, and itinerary.

Could be an amazing (if long) tour - in good weather

I understand that nobody can control the weather and tickets to the cable car are pre-booked but I still think this tour should only take place in good weather. Maybe, it would be an option to call the cable car and ask them about the views and then ask guests if they want to continue despite everything being lost in the fog. I think for me - and everyone else on the tour - it was not worth it to drive the last 2h in the rain to Tatev, get on the cable car, see nothing, wander around the monastery in cold, wet misery and then drive 4.5h (!) back to Yerewan. This is already loong, demanding trip when the view makes it worth it…I will say that the driver drove excellent in bad conditions and the guide tried his best to stay optimistic but it was almost a 16h (!) day. I would have preferred to turn around with no refund after lunch. The first 2 monasteries that we saw, as well as the canyon, were great. Even in good weather, I would rethink this day trip, however. I think maybe combining the first 2 monasteries with a cave and getting back into the city in the early evening rather than late at night, would have been better. Or, if people really want to see Tatev, maybe they would be better off spending one night in the region and going hiking around the area (which is stunning). Overall, I would recommend the company, the guide and the driver but not this particular day trip. If you still want to go, check the weather before booking!

Thank you for the review! Unfortunately, as you have mentioned nobody can control the weather. We cannot cancel the previously announced itinerary as it is a group tour and we must respect the schedule, besides the weather in Syunik region is being changed with every hour so no one can predict the changes. Hope during your next visit of Armenia the weather will be just perfect and you will fully enjoy touring with us!

Tatev is a wonderful and very proactive guide. She shared a lot of information and is very organizednin juggling Russian and English speaking travellers. She shifts between languages very smoothly as well. Very friendly and very upbeat. Not a dull moment and you feel you are taken cared of. MAVERIK OUR DRIVER WAS SUPER EXCELLENT IN DRIVING US VERY SAFELY IN A LOOOONG JOURNEY. His driving was on point and we thank Maverik for the excellent and safe drive.

False advertising.

Could go on the tour as it wasn’t as advertised. It was far longer than 14-15 hours. So had to get off the tour so I would make my flight. They refused to refund despite the false advertising. This is a bus tour not a small group tour.

Kindly note, that the actual duration of the tour to Khor Virap, Noravank, "Devil's" bridge, Tatev (wayback on Ropeway) is for 14-15 hours, exactly as it is advertised on Viator. The tour departed exactly at 08:30 am as announced and the guide told that the tour should be back to Yerevan close to midnight, which is also true and does not contradict to the announced duration. That was your decision not to take a risk and go out from the vehicle, there was no our fault.
