Very special experience

A wonderful experience in a beautiful environment. Visiting the Emirates Palace Mandarin Hotel is unforgetable, from the palatial tiled lobby with its immense ceiling, the grand staircase, chandeliers and Episodes floral layout, you wont be disappointed. The Palace Cappuccino in a beautiful china cup and saucer is delightful with a delicious light cake, and attentive staff who ensure you are having the best time. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Horrible diner beautiful place.

Spectacular place but not worth it to book diner at the vendôme restaurent. The dishes were very basic not worth the price. Drinks are extra to pay. I do not recommend it. However I do recommend visiting the palace or very beautiful.

Definitely worthwhile

It was perfect! Once you arrive go directly to the reception, they were extremely helpful. They will guide you to the Vendome. Ask if you can sit outside as the view is breathtaking. The restaurant is not as glamorous as the rest of the hotel so you don't really need a spectacular outfit. Most of the men were wearing jeans and the women everyday dresses. Do not worry about covering shoulders and knees unless you'll be going on Friday or Saturday. Otherwise, the restaurant will be closer to empty. ( we were slightly overdressed but it was a birthday celebration so we didn't mind 😉 ) The staff is surprisingly kind and helpful. The buffet has many different options. I would suggest the pasta ( which they make at the spot, in front of you ), tartar salad ( if you're not a spicy lover go ahead and make your own one ) and of course the desserts! Once you're done you can walk a little bit around the floor and see the rest of the common rooms. Enjoy!!

Not worth for such a price

The food was not great and not fresh . One of my family members was sick and had diarrhea for 4 times right after the meal. Seafoods were not fresh especially the crab n the tuna sushi. There was not much variety too.

DON'T BOOK THIS TOUR (ITS A ROBBERY), BOOK DIRECTLY WITH EMIRATES PALACE

This tour is a robbery and Orient is a robber Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi organises this tour for 150 AED per person which includes good 45 mins palace tour and coffee with gold. Best is to call up the emirates palace hotel in advance and book directly with them. This travel agent through viator is charging more than 200 AED only for coffee and is led by un professional team lead Sara who doesn't bother if your experience is bad as long as you are paying money. Even worse is that the Emirates palace doesn't recognise any touts like orient. BEST NOT TO BOOK FROM THIS OPERATOR. It was a very bad experience as the hotel doesn't recognise orient tour operator and doesn't.

Not good experience

They could not find my reservation! It took them 20 min & 3 people to figure it out that Viator used a different name for the reservation! Once seated, nobody served us for another 20 min until we asked them!

Be sure to visit the Emirates Place Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Beautiful hotel to visit. The Golden Cappuccino at Le Cafe was lovely, however we did not find the staff overly friendly. We did not realize you can visit the Palace Hotel without reserving the Golden Cappuccino. We also thought we would be allowed to visit the gardens if we reserved coffee, but this was not the cae.

Outstanding Venue

The Emirates Palace has to be seen to be believed. All $ 3.8 billion of it !! The building is remarkable and even though you cannot wander to the beach or accomodation areas, you can wander throughout the main building on the way to the Cafe for your Golden Cappuccino. For A$80 you can wander the foyer and shops then sit down for a slice of cake and coffee. The coffee wasn't great so if you are fanatical about the strength and heat of your coffee then you might be disappointed. Ours was luke warm albeit with the 24 carat topping. The slice was yummy. You are really paying for access and the unique experience to tell your friends about the amazing complex and what gold "tastes" like. Fun but not obligatory.

Une soirée idyllique

Le cadre idyllique du palace !!! Arrivé 30mn avant le début du dîner de 19h30, nous avons pu visiter le hall d’entrée et couloirs mitoyens. Nous avons été très bien reçus au restaurant Le Vandome. Nous avons pris une table à l extérieur (magnifique vue !!!) Et le buffet est exceptionnel, choix très varié. Un régal !!!

Der Besuch war unproblematisch. Voucher, wenn man aufgefordert wird vorzeigen und in der Lobby einfach gerade aus zum Le Café gehen. Es gab nur kurz ein Missverständnis, weil noch ein zweites Restaurant auf dem Voucher erwähnt war Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und es gab den vergoldeten Cappuccino und ein Stückchen Kuchen. Von der Ausstattung des Hotels hätte ich mehr erwartet aber das ist immer Geschmacksache.
