Bryan, our driver, was knowledgeable and entertaining and filled us in on a variety of topics ,from local history, flora and fauna, etc. The first winery visited, the family run one,was our favorite. The winery's guide did an excellent job and we enjoyed our tastings and learned alot about the terroir, grape varieties, how the grapes were harvested and prepared for the wine etc. The other two wineries were OK.. but not as much detail provided by the wineries' hosts . The lunch was okay..maybe a little skimpy as many of us were very hungry. The planned stop for a coffee break was way too rushed . We were late arriving due to a mixup about picking up a couple in Adelaide. When we arrived in the little village for our break, we only had enough time to walk the 3 or so blocks from one end of the village to where the bus was waiting. No time to get a snack. As mentioned,we would have liked a bit more to eat at lunch..another piece of cheese, some bread etc. Our fellow participants were a friendly, jolly lot and we enjoyed socializing and sharing our adventures together. A highlight of our visit to Adelaide.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Baden was great fun, he provided lots of interesting facts about Adelaide and information about the wineries. Tastings were professionally run with a nice personal touch. Lunch was delicious.

A memorable and fun day out
Sheila_M, Apr 2024
Brian gave us excellent background knowledge about the places we were to visit which made the wineries much more interesting than simply doing the tastings - which were delicious! The scenery was beautiful and the lunch was great. Altogether a memorable day out.

What a fantastic day we had touring the Barossa Valley. I cannot speak highly enough about Brian Oliver, our bus driver/tour guide extraordinaire, what a great host he was. His knowledge was so informative and his personality so relaxed and fun. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to enjoy a great day of exploration and wine tasting. Thank you so much. 🙏💖

Baden was excellent. He explained to all of us important things about Adelaide and SA which helped us to understand and appreciate more everything. I highly recommend this tour to couples, families and solo travelers as you will not get bored at all. The wineries were lovely and the wine fantastic.
A fun day in the Barossa
Melanie_C, Apr 2024
Baden was a great tour guide, giving us lots of interesting information about the Barossa Wine Region and Adelaide in general. He definitely knows how to convey this information in a fun way, making all tour participants laugh on the regular. We were taken to a selection of good vinyards, one of them being superb, one good and one average but with tasty lunch. Overall, we really enjoyed the day and the social interactions with other group members. Highly recommend to anyone.
Wonderful tour, a few areas to improve
Stephanie_R, Apr 2024
Loved this experience overall but a few areas of improvement. Our tour guide Baden was wonderful. Great commentary and pacing the day. The stop at the first town seemed unnecessary. I could’ve used the time for a later pickup instead. The lunch was good but really underwhelming. It was basically a charcuterie board with chicken strips. The last winery rushed us through to get to closing. We didn’t have enough time between tastings. The vibe of the group and tour guide made this a wonderful day despite a few shortcomings. Would recommend going!
Great Day of Wine
Richard_W, Mar 2024
Visited 3 different wineries and got to sample a wide range (23!) of different wines. Winery staff really knowledgeable and happy to discuss the details, but less "tasting notes" and more have a taste and see if you like it (good thing!). Never felt rushed. Tour guide Brian excellent and happy to chat all things wine and South Australia.
Fabulous day. Great...

Barossa Valley Highlights

We enjoyed the random stops to watch the harvest being offloaded and the time we spent on the floor of a small family owned winery, asking questions and seeing what happens to the grapes. Russell was a great guide and so knowledgeable.
Perfect tour

100% recommended. This tour was so much fun, got to try way more wine than expexted. High quality wines! Our driver was so much fun, gave us lot of information while driving. I'd say the whole group had an amazing time. Thank you!

Highly recommended day out in the Barossa
Penny_E, Mar 2024
A great day out in the Barossa Valley. Baden was very knowledgeable and engaging with the stories he told about the region and wineries we visited. Loved the opportunity to visit a boutique winery (Rosenvale) and looking forward to enjoying their fine wine when the delivery arrives :)
Great day out in the Barossa valley.
Linda_C, Mar 2024
Brian our driver, was very knowledgable and had a great personality. He was very professional and took the group to 3 different wineries. The first and the last were the best, we didn't care too much for the second. The lunch which was at the second was nice but it did need a bit more food and you had to buy a glass of wine, which was poor. The last smaller winerie was excellent and we liked their wines the best. The 2 ladies gave an excellent talk and welcomed questions. All in all a very good day out. Thanks Brian.
