Our guide, Amilcar was amazing!! He made sure to include the whole group, patient with instructions and overall really sweet. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. The tour itself was beautiful and amazing. Everything we got to see and learn about Guatemala, simply beautiful! Unfortunately, we were running a bit behind due to unforeseen circumstances and the company was super understanding and nice about it. Highly recommended.

Definitely recommend this tour. Our guide Gio was fantastic. He made sure our small group had a great experience visiting Cerro De La Cruz and Hobbitenango via ATV and on the back of open truck bed. A tip is to bring a light jacket as the temps are cooler higher up the mountains.

This was an experience in Antigua that was 100% worth the money! Our guide Gio was awesome. He was very attentive and explained the historical backgrounds of each place we stopped at. The restaurant for dinner was also quite nice. Thank you Gio for an excellent, memorable experience!

1000% recommend!!! Received way more than what I expected for the $65 I paid! Our tour guide, Oscar, was by far the best tour guide I’ve came across! Super knowledgeable, fun, and amigable. He made sure to accommodate everyone and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I knew we would have some nice places to take pictures at but I did not know it was a whole amusement park called Hobbitenango! They have a swing if you’re an adrenaline person, archery, and axe throwing all for FREE (well it’s included as part of the $65 voucher). They also have a bar for those who just want to relax, vendors and well the view I’m sure you can imagine. As a group we decided to spend 1 hour in Hobbitenango to then have dinner at a local restaurant. There the food was great and once again, Oscar made sure we were all good, explained the menu and throughout the whole time made sure we got refills on or drinks if needed, etc. Basically was our server and our tour guide! Overall, best tour guide and best experience ever!

What a amazing tour with ATV bike🤩! I was afraid of driving ATV at first but thanks to a instruction, I was relieved after driving 10 minutes! Tour includes visiting the crossing hill, hobitenango, and a restaurant. Hobitenango was breathtaking and I loved it😍 It's cold upthere so I recommend to bring your jacket! For improvement, it'd have been better if we had more time than 45 minutes in hobitenango which was the highlight of this tour! And in the restaurant, my food came so late like after one hour but the filet mignon was really tasty so it was worth it😊 My guide, Carlos was very kind and knowledgeable and he explained all in English.

Thank you for your recommendation, we try to give our clients atleast 1-1.5hour to discover hobbitenango but we also try to stay around a 4-5hour tour to not come back too late in the evening so always depends a little bit how fast everything goes :) but good to read you enjoyed your tour!

Experience could be better

There was not enough actual riding of the ATV’s. There was lots of traffic and you ride the ATV’s up a steep hill. When coming down the hill, which is most of the trip back, you are squeezing the “right” brake (guides do a great job of explaining that the left brake should only be used very sparingly) as hard as you can to keep from riding into the ATV in front of you. In fact, we stopped multiple times on the ride down for the guides to check the brakes to make sure they weren’t too hot. The guides were very kind, knowledgeable, and understood english well.

Great tour. Diego and guides were awesome! I loved the views, history, instructions for the ATVs. Cross, Hobitanego, the dinner overlooking the city was truly amazing and made my 48 hours in Antigua memorable. I enjoyed this tour as a solo traveler. Great for couples, families and solo folks. Food was delicious and the restaurant had amazing views.

This was a very fun experience! Loved riding the ATV through Antigua and up to each of our destinations! Instructions were clear on how to use the ATV. Definitely bring a jacket for when you’re at Hobbitenango and the ride back down to Antigua. You ride the ATV up to a stopping point and they take you up to Hobbitenango by pick up truck (just a few minute drive). But by pick up truck I mean, you’re sitting or standing in the bed of the truck. It was fun, an all around good experience. Glad we did it!
