What To Expect

Following pickup at your Aruba hotel in the late afternoon, transfer to the luxurious 70-foot (20-meter) catamaran and set sail on the turquoise sea.

Grab a drink from the open bar, then find a spot on the sundeck or in the shade of the cabin. Watch the coastline of Aruba recede as the boat heads out towards the SS Antilla, a German freighter that ran aground during WWII.

When you reach the wreck, slip on the provided mask, snorkel and flippers and jump in. Follow your knowledgable guide around the ship as they point out the many varieties of coral and native tropical fish that have made the sunken freighter their home.

After enjoying Aruba's underwater seascape and the boat's open bar, head back to land for drop-off at your hotel.

Optional Upgrade: 'Snuba' allows you to breathe easily underwater, but doesn't limit you to floating on the top. Follow a certified Snuba guide to a depth of 20 feet (six meters) for a dive. No snorkeling or scuba certification is needed.

A:You will snorkel at the crystal clear and calm waters of Boca Catalina as well as the Antilla Shipwreck; one of the Caribbean's largest shipwrecks. Corals and tube sponges have colonized the wreck, which attracts sea turtles and many species of fish.

The captain and crew were excellent. The snorkeling experience was nice and the crowd was nice and friendly. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to friends traveling to Aruba and would do it again myself.

Low visibility but still fun.

Water was a little rough and visibility was a bit low at the first stop. The bar tender Alex was a great time and kept the drinks flowing. The food was needed and appreciated after all that swimming. All in all had a great time and met some great people.

Perfect time! Bring cash for the bar. Also, they have prescription goggles if needed just say so ahead of time. Amazing tour! I snorkelers, but would try the snuba next time!

One of the reasons I chose this particular tour is because it provides pick up and drop off from downtown area. The crew on the catamaran were amazing and super friendly and hilarious. They kept the fun vibe going. We got to snorkel at Antilla shipwreck and then Boca Catalina. Both were wonderful experiences. They show you how to snorkel if it’s your first time snorkelling and also help if you don’t know how to swim! Got to see plenty of fish and some jellyfish too! Some in our group also spotted a turtle. Open bar and snacks is definitely a plus as well. Would definitely recommend this tour to any one!

This snorkeling trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Aruba! The captain was fun and engaging, while ensuring we were all safe. We initially thought 3 hours on the water might be too long, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. The boat made two stops for those of us who wanted to snorkel - one being a shipwreck - that we could explore. The open bar and snacks were also enjoyable. We also appreciated that we could cancel if our plans changed. (So happy we didn't have to, as it was the perfect way to spend the day.)

We did snuba over the shipwreck. So worth the extra $$. Our guide was great- so reassuring for my daughter and me who were both first timers. We saw sooo much. Amazon fish and swam right next to the ship 20 ft. Below the surface. The whole experience was great, but SNUBA was fantastic.

All aspects of Palm Pleasure Afternoon Delight were positive from hotel pickup, transportation, interaction with the crew, refreshments offered, to the condition of the catamaran and equipment. My husband and I are both nearsighted and were thrilled to be supplied with corrective goggles. The staff goes above and beyond to provide a fantastic snorkeling experience.

Such a fun and organized swim boat!! The staff was AMAZING!!! My experience 9/27 @ 2:00 pm was far better than I expected it to be. I booked the excursion 3 hours prior and all I can say is WOW!! I will absolutely do it all over again my next time in Aruba!! 10/10!!! I really can’t say enough about the staff!!

Good hosts but not much sailing on the ocean. We would have liked to spend more time sailing as the water was very choppy making snorkeling difficult. It was an open bar with a selection of drinks and to our surprise they provided Turkey hot dogs and ham and Turkey sandwiches.
