The Jolly Pirates Ships depart from the area at MooMba Beach. MooMba Beach is located in Palm Beach by the high rise hotels and just between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott Resorts. Guests meet up just beside the MooMba Bar at the Skull and Crossbones Pirate Shop.

What To Expect

Make your way to MooMba Beach, located at Berea di Piscado, Noord, Aruba. Check in for the afternoon cruise on the 85-foot (26-meter) pirate schooner. Find a seat on the teak sun deck or the cushioned seating under the shaded awnings.

The schooner will stop at three sites; snorkel and swim at the first two, and take a ride on the boat's rope swing at the third.

The Malmok snorkeling site is shallow and quite close to shore, with calm waters and abundant wildlife. At Boca Catalina, snorkelers will see yellow striped grunts and the colorful Sergeant, angel fish, bright green parrot fish, groupers as well as elk coral, brain coral and barrel sponges. This site has ample opportunities for both beginner and experienced snorkelers. Finally, the shipwreck Antilla, widely considered the Caribbean's best wreck dive. The huge German freighter sits in just 60 feet (18 meters) of water, its hull protruding from the water.

During the course of the sail, choose where and when you want to snorkel, swim, or test out the rope swing. Sip drinks from the open bar or socialize with your fellow passengers and crew. Return to the departure point.

Definitely recommend! This was by far one of our favorite outings we planned in Aruba! The crew was absolutely fantastic and hilarious, a GREAT time! The snorkeling was incredible and you can’t beat the rope swing!!

Jolly Good Time, hold on to your hat!

Fun time on the Jolly Pirate Ship! Was able to sit in the shade and sip some island rum juice! It was a windy day that took my hat and made it hard to dive and see the ship wreck but the snorkeling was better in the inlet and the kids had a great time swinging off the rope swing into the ocean! The guys were great with everyone and had so much patience! One of kids lost his hat before we even left and one of the guys took the dingy to fetch it out of the water for us , what a life savior!! We all had a great time and would recommend the cruise to anyone’

We had the best time as a family if 4 (2 adults and 2 kids (8 & 6) on this excursion. The crew was very entertaining and accommodating. The locations where we stopped were fun for adults and kids and we saw a ton of fish and turtles. My youngest was able to hold a harmless jellyfish and the rope swing was the oldest son’s favorite part of the trip. The only downside was that the boat was very crowded but we would book again.

Amazing tour. Snorkeled twice, saw a ship wreck and a puffer fish. Jumping off the boat was so much fun and the staff was amazing. Great drinks and overall environment. 10/10

Fun excursion

Did the afternoon Sail and Snorkel on the Jolly Pirate with my 2 sons (11 and 13yo). The snorkeling spots were OK but the main feature was the rope swing. The adults and kids all had a great time with it. Unlimited tropical mixed drinks and sodas for the kids. The staff was very entertaining and interactive. They also shared some cool tips about the island and the places that we visited.

This was a great tour. Seemed well organized, drinks were unlimited and they took us to the promised snorkeling spots. We saw lots of fish, the really cool shipwreck and sea turtles. Exactly what we expected and wanted! Would recommend.

This boat was awesome! This was much better than the choices for Royal's tours. The beach is located a ways from the cruise port on the resort side of the island, but there was no shortage of ways to move the family to the location. We had to move 14! The beach bar was great. If you want beer on the boat, buckets are available at the beach bar to take with you. Otherwise, there is a free "pirate punch" that after a few you will definitely say "Arrrrrr". There are two stops. One is for a better swimmer in the open water and the other is a bit calmer. We had a bit of wind that made it a little rougher. "Walking the plank" with the rope swing was really cool. We had a group from 8-70 years of age. Everyone had a blast. You do take a tender boat that will take all of the guests on one trip. They will all fit in it somehow..we made it work. Get to know your neighbor well for a few minutes.
