What To Expect

This half-day Aruba Palm Pleasure Snorkel Adventure kicks off with hotel pick up, followed by a scenic sea cruise aboard a 70-foot catamaran. Kick back and relax as your professional crew transports you across stunning blue waters while you soak up sun and sip on strong tropical cocktails. Spend time at various snorkeling sites, which include the coral-laden Antilla Shipwreck, Boca Catalina, and the Arashi reef.

Travelers can opt to snorkel, or upgrade to a SNUBA package. This hybrid of snorkeling and SCUBA allows you to breathe easily underwater without wearing heavy gear. Plus, no certification or previous experience is required. A private guided tour permits underwater explorers as young as eight years old to safely descend to a depth of 20 feet with the aid of a SNUBA instructor exclusively available with De Palm Water sports.

Regardless of which underwater option you choose, this day of fun and sun is guaranteed to be enjoyable, thanks to a savory on-board lunch prepared by top chefs and an open bar, too. Please note: passengers arriving to Aruba on cruise ship cannot book this tour

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

A:Yes, the boat leaves from De Palm Pier, located between RIU and Hilton Resort. Be sure to check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure time at the Coconuts retail store.

A:Unfortunately, the scheduling of this tour does not coincide with most cruise ship arrivals. Therefore it is not recommended for Cruise ship guests.

A:You will snorkel at the crystal clear and calm waters of Boca Catalina as well as the Antilla Shipwreck; one of the Caribbean's largest shipwrecks. Corals and tube sponges have colonized the wreck, which attracts sea turtles and many species of fish.

What a wonderful way to spend the morning! My kids and I had a great time on the catamaran snorkeling! The sunken ship was super cool to see and a bit eerie. The second stop with the turtles made my year! I got to swim eye to eye with one and it took my breath away. We snuba-ed which was a neat experience in and off itself. I’ve been on a lot of snorkeling trips, but this one had the best sites by far! The crew were friendly. The food was great! And Adrian was so very patient and helpful with me kids who were a bit apprehensive about the snuba adventure. Top notch!

The staff was phenomenal. Very helpful. The 3 snorkeling spots offered a variety of different aspects. The lunch and cocktails were excellent. If you like snorkeling, this is one of the better tours. Filmed the shipwreck, a sea turtle and tons of tropical fish on the Go Pro.

I’m so glad we booked this snorkeling tour! Loved every stop - shipwreck was cool and many fish to see , 2nd stop was all about the turtles 🐢 that swim next to you and 3rd stop - we also saw turtles but I also saw spotted eagle stingray - it was absolutely amazing. Food and the crew were also great!

We had a great time on our very short excursion. The crew members were all great but our trip was cut short because of the unprecedented amount of jellyfish in the water. They keep the bar open on the way back to the pier and also gave us a full refund. If we make it back to Aruba we will definitely be booking a Palm Pleasure cruise again.

This was almost a disaster. The vendor was wonderful but the ground transportation another matter. We arrived on Carnival Horizon and had previously contacted Viator about ground transportation and were told we would take the shuttle. When we arrived we were told shuttle didn't go to cruise port so we took a $50 one way cab ride to arrive at 9:05am to see boat sail away! Coconuts staff didn't notice five people running toward office. They did arrange a speed boat (thank you Charlitta) to take us to meet the sail boat and boat crew was awesome! Trip was wonderful and well run. P.S. we took shuttle to hotel that was 200 yards from cruise port! Please consider updating description as staff say this occurs too often. Started crazy but ended wonderfully.

Snorkel Fun!!

Our trip was perfect! Alex, the captain made the boat ride so much fun. We stopped at 3 different locations to snorkel - first the shipwreck - WOW!! Then swimming with turtles and we we saw a stingrays too! And finally another sandy bottom spot with so many different types of fish! For the first 2 hours there were sandwiches and fruit - very nice to have! And after our 3rd stop we had a buffet lunch. We would highly recommend this trip for family fun! We took our 2 teenagers and had a blast!

Omg I can’t say enough good things about this trip! Caesar was our guide and he was the BEST!!! So much energy and the best personality. He danced with us, swam with us, made the best drinks. The food was soooo good! Full course meal! And let me say, sea turtles everywhere!! The ship wreck and turtles were my favorite part. Do it!!

Too crowded

The boat was overly crowded, impacting our ability to enjoy the experience. Lunch options were limited and despite having explicitly communicated dietary preferences, one of our group members, who is vegetarian, was left with only rice and a modest "salad" as their meal. Despite the challenging conditions during the first stop, snorkeling at the second and third stops, where we saw turtles and vibrant fish, was enjoyable. The crew was friendly and assisted my mom and sister in getting into the water. Given these mixed experiences, especially as it was a birthday trip for me, I am hesitant about recommending it to others. The snorkeling was a highlight, but the overall crowdedness and food limitations affected my satisfaction.

Spend the extra money and do this trip!!
