It was a very informative and fun day. It was everything that was expected and more. Our tour guide, Gordonna, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We learned so much about wine and vineyards. She was very patient with our questions and the time we wanted to spend at the different sites. I would recommend this excursion.

The Point du Gard is so impressive and also in a beautiful setting. The wine tasting was not only delicious, but also very informative. The théâtre in Orange requires a lot of climbing on stone steps with no railings.

Gordana was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny,took our needs into consideration....she was the best. The highlight was the winery...but pont du gard was amazing too... Scenery was breathtaking just driving through the country side...you really don't want to miss this, especially if Gordana is your guide.

would not recommend this trip to anyone. Tour guide was terrible accused us of being typical Australians by saying that she expected us to be drinking wine & beer instead of paying extra to visit a museum. It went downhill from there.
Avignone - Much better with a GREAT Guide

Our guide Gordana made all the difference. From the minute she picked us up she made us feel comfortable and filled our trip with so much interesting information and insight into Avignone and the region. She knew just where to go to get the best view and even stopped to get us some amazing fresh strawberries at a local stand. We learned so much from her. Her enthusiasm and ability to give great examples and relate it to us from the US made it a rich experience. Highly recommend and worth it.

What an amazing experience! Natalie was just the nicest and informative guide for this itinerary, my daughter and I could not imagined a better guide! The Pont du Gard was so special and perfect at sunset. Make sure you don’t miss the small path to see a view from the top on the left bank side (just past the cave and snack bar).

Gordana was a fabulous tour guide with high energy and a ton of information about everywhere we went, including the wine village. And she is a great driver with a nice car. We all had a great time. Speaking of time, I think the length of the tour was just right.

Great fun learning about the Roman aquaduct and great wine tasting at Chateant du Pape where the ganache wine was better than I've ever had. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful tour experience hosted by our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Nathalie. She provided helpful information and details at and between each site visited. We appreciated the pace of the tour which was both relaxed and keeping on a schedule. The variety of tours offered is a plus as we were able to find the right mix for our family of historic sites with a wine tasting. The Pont du Gard site is captivating. The wine tasting was well done with a nice educational side provided through the tasting and an attached museum. A wonderful tour and tour guide. We will look to book future tour offerings with Viator.

Guide was excellent. However we only expected Pont du Gard and wine tasting but were taken to the Roman theatre at Orange. Consequently everything was rushed and extra cost to buy tickets.

Gordana was hands down the most enthusiastic, informative and entertaining guide. I learnt so much about so many different things to do with Avignon- weather, ancient sites, wine, philosophy, food. It was a real highlight of my time in this part of France. The tour was perfectly paced. The Roman amphitheatre is so much more impressive in real life. Thank you and I hope we meet again

Great tour combining ancient and medieval history and local wine culture and practice. The tasting was fabulous and the Pont du Gard and Theatre d’Orange were stunning.
