We had an excellent tour. The tour guide, Thierry, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and funny. We learned a lot about the wine from the Cote du Rhône. We had a delicious lunch and went to 4 different wine tastings. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful day in Chateau Neuf De Pape! Brigitte was a great guide…she provided lots of information and history along with the wine tastings. We highly recommend this tour.

Great red wines

The vineyards were beautiful. Lunch was in a fabulous location and absolutely delicious. One Wine Tasting room was in the bottom basement of a castle. It was very cool down there in atmosphere and temperature. I was thinking there would be more rosé to try, but this was mainly a red wine tour We even passed this old castle that was beautiful that got bombed in World War II We got out and walked around it for a bit The Tour guide was very nice and passionate about the area, but she was hard to understand. I think we caught about 60% of what she said.

This is an absolutely fantastic wine tasting tour. Our guide was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable, the lunch provided was delicious in a very nice french restaurant. We got to visit three different wineries. It’s a tour with full day schedule 9AM-6PM. We highly recommend this tour!!!

A Memorable Experience at Chateauneuf du Pape

It was a great tour from beginning to end. Our guide, Niko was amazing. His knowledge and fun nature made for an informative and most enjoyable day. The wineries and the restaurant where we had lunch were fantastic. Niko went above and beyond at the end of the day to enable us a spectacular photo opportunity from outside the walls of Avignon. We couldn't recommend this tour with Niko more highly.

5 Star Experience in French Wine Country

We had such a fabulous day exploring the region and experiencing the wine culture of this beautiful part of the world. Nico was such an amazing host-- we can not say enough about how accommodating and gracious he was. To start, he offered to pick us up at from where we were staying, which was not one of the previously listed options. From there he quickly adapted the days itinerary when he found out we had already visited one of the planned sites (which we assured him was not necessary). He wanted to make sure we were able to see as many unique places as possible-- and he went above and beyond to get us access to a cellar that technically was not operational at the moment. Point being-- he really took the extra step to make this experience exceptional and it truly was! We wish we could hang out with Nico regularly but unfortunately for us we live a little too far away :) We would recommend this tour to anyone who is in the area. It was truly a wonderful and memorable experience we will not forget.

Fantastic day with Terry (French man with good English) as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He made the day fun for us and was very friendly. We enjoyed our lunch at the winery he chose for us and the wine was good. Plenty of wine tasting at three different wineries and very interesting to learn all about the history of the vineyards and wine making in Provenence and Chatenaunef du Pape. Viator app did not work and said I had no bookings. Also I couldn’t make changes to our booking through the email link. I finally was able to find a local number in Avignon to make the change the night before. Terry also contacted us the morning of the tour to clarify where the pick up location was.

Chateauneuf du Pope wine tour

Thierry was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wines of the area. He also lives in Avignon and was able to give us information about the history of the area. We were most interested in Chateauneuf du Pape and he spoke a lot about those wines as well as giving us information about the wines of the Rhône Valley. We felt like we got a great background on why the wines are made the way they are and the influence the AOP has on the wine production in the area. The only issue we had was confusion regarding pickup location. Viator told us they would pick us up at our hotel. Then later we received a note saying we could be picked up at the tourist office or city hall. We sent a note requesting clarification and did not receive a reply until after the tour concluded (in French). Thierry said that he was expecting everyone at the tourist office. Luckily that is where we decided to go; the other couple on the tour were at city hall causing confusion for them and Thierry.

Thierry was a highly knowledgeable & congenial guide for a full day through the Chateau-neuf-du-pape region. We visited 4 wineries and had a 3-course Lunch in a Chateau at a 5th. He also added stops to see small villages, amazing vistas or a fabulous chateau. At each vineyard, our guide new the sommelier and negotiated tastings of 6 - 8 of their best wines. An extraordinary day in the French countryside.

Ti ket said 9:00 am for pickup, driver showed up at 8:30 and left before we arrived at 8:55. Offered us a other day, but we were unavailable. Did get a refund, but would have preferred the tour. Make sure you all agree on the time

Although this wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, it was an excellent tour. Thierry was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and personal, and clearly knew everyone we interacted with at each stop. Lunch was delicious, and I highly recommend going that route.

The wineries we visited were each different and unique, and each had wonderful wines to taste. The lunch was amazing, and the views of the countryside were wonderful. Thierry was a gracious and informative guide along the way. We cannot recommend it enough!
