Driver contacted me by phone as he was unsure what terminal the ship was in. Another driver, waiting for his passenger spoke to him in Spanish or Catalonian and gave him directions. He was prompt and a very good driver, and dropped me off right in front of my hotel which was on one of the narrow lanes just off the Barcelona Cathedral square. There was a long line for taxis so glad I booked in advance.

The transfer NEVER HAPPENED as no one could ever get in touch with the vendor. No one showed up and I had to end up taking a cab. Very disappointed

Our driver did not wait for us to disembark from our ship. After contacting your office we were told he arrived at 8am and left at 8.15am. We were not allowed to leave the ship till 8.15 , so was out at the terminal waiting at 8.30. We waited for 2 hours and had to call a taxi. Pathetic and a total waste of money. Other drivers waited for over 2 hours. Would not use or recommend your company again.

We sat at the cruise terminal for 2 hours. We emailed the tour operator when we arrived to no avail. Once the driver finally arrived he showed up in a taxi. We could have hailed a taxi upon arrival and saved money. Awful experience

After 40 min wait at Barcelona port walking outside looking for the driver with my name on it, we took a taxi to the hotel. Got a call after we were on the taxi ride for 10 min. I already canceled pickup from Madrid airport

Did not turn up at all! What can be said?. We just had to find another taxi having waited fruitlessly for an hour with several people searching for a driver with the promised name board.

Driver arrived on time. Van was clean and big enough for all our luggage.

We had several pieces of luggage and had indicated that to Viator on the phone. The guy shows up in a regular taxi and says he cannot take us because our luggage was too big. (Standard size for airport). He had his boss call us and suggest we take another taxi with the luggage and have that taxi follow us to the hotel! My niece ended up having to take her own taxi to the hotel so we had to pay twice in essence. The driver was not friendly and just seemed irritated.

Do yourself a favor and do not book this transfer company. I scheduled a 9:45 AM pick up from the cruise terminal to our hotel in the city center or Barcelona. I booked a later time because our seating for breakfast on the ship was 8:15. We were also late to dock in Barcelona and there was a wait for our bags. We were outside the ship terminal at 9:50-10:00 and our driver had already left saying we were a no show. When I reached out to viator for a refund Book Taxi Group claimed they waited an hour and we were no-shows and would not provide a refund. Do not book a company that won’t wait 5-10 min passed your pick-up time due to reasons beyond your control. I will never book with this company again. I will also be writing this review on other places such as Google or Yelp.

Our transfer from the cruise terminal never showed up. We booked and paid for it in June for July. They send us confirmation and showed it was paid for. We called them and they said they could see it was booked and paid for but they didn't schedule it! "Sorry you will have to get a taxi." We had nine in our party and needed two taxis. So not a good start to our day! Not a great experience and would not recommend this company. They did not try to help us. They basically told us that we were on our own!

Our driver never showed up. Called the tour operator and was told to get a taxi, he was sorry but couldn’t reach the driver to see if he was picking us up. I now know not to schedule anything with Viator and get a taxi, much less in cost and dependability.

Viator sets the pickup at the main cruise terminal, which was a mile from the ship. There were plenty of pickup from other providers that picked up at the ship. It would have been cheaper and more convenient to have gotten a cab.

Viator a Big Disappointment When Needed to Do Tight Thing

I give this service ZERO STARS, but I had to add 1 star to post this message. The driver was a No Show. We provided all information - day of arrival, cruise ship name, and time to pick us up. NO SHOW. The most disappointing thing is that Viator will not issue a refund nor give a solid answer why not. I have been a Viator customer for years. Sadly, no more.
