Located about 30 miles (50 km) northwest of Barcelona is Montserrat Mountain, the 'Serrated Mountain.' This unique rock formation, sawed and sculpted by thousands of years of wind and rain, is most famously home to a Benedictine monastery, an important Catholic pilgrimage spot thanks to its 12th-century wooden statue of La Moreneta (The Black Madonna), Catalonia's patron saint. Aside from its religious and cultural importance, the mountain also boasts unbeatable views from its peaks.

Simply amazing!!!
A huge thanks to our guide Xavi for a wonderful tour of beautiful Montserrat mountains and Cava winery. If you’re coming to Barcelona, this is a must see, that brings the history full circle. One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever had the privilege to visit - simply outstanding experience.

Many Memories On Montserrat
The views were breathtaking and nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The coach was very clean and comfortable. The tour guids (Anna & Jessica) were very good and thorough with information.

Nice Day Trip!
Everything was on schedule. Free time was a good amount of time. Javier (our tour guide) was polite and explained the highlights clearly. Location meeing point was accurate. The shared bus with other groups was comfy (could have been cleaner). Tapas were very very simple, but wine was good and tasty (3 small glasses of wine included). Would recommend as a plan to do if you have already visited the top highlights in Barcelona.

Good trip
This is a large group bus tour. The bus was clean and comfortable. Beautiful scenery and Cathedral. There was free time to select what you wanted to see but not enough time for everything available. The art museum has some great pieces, go early if you are on the afternoon tour as it closes early.
