Yannis was very thorough in his explanations of a very complicated history! He gave us plenty of time to ask questions. This was the highlight of our week in Barcelona! And our tour coincidentally occurred on the Spanish Columbus Day where we could actually see some of the conservative and Fascist groups congregating in La Placa de Catalunya. Great history lesson!

We never found the tour. This was to be the highlight of our visit to Barcelona. Tried to contact the guide but no response.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to write it. We're very sad to hear you couldn't find the tour guide, we know that your travel time is invaluable so we try our best to make sure the meeting point is communicated as clearly as possible. In the booking information, besides the address of the meeting point and the pin on the map, we also include a direct link to the exact location of the meeting point. The day before the tour we send an email that also includes the link to the exact location and asks people to confirm their attendance. Furthermore, on the morning of the tour, the guide sends a text message to the phone number listed in the booking to make sure everything is clear and there are no misunderstandings. Since we did not receive a confirmation from you and your phone number was not reachable. It seems like this was an unfortunate instance where things just didn't work out. The guide was at the meeting point until at least 10:50, holding a white umbrella and with a small group of other participants of the tour. We have issued a full refund which should be processed within the next 48 hours. We hope you still enjoyed your stay in Barcelona.

Learning the facts regarding the Spanish civil war . Yabbie was a great tour guide who shared his knowledge in a very entertaining way , he also invited and answered all questions out to him . 10/10
This is not a light or happy tour but it is extremely worthwhile for those who take history seriously.

I was very moved by the small church with the statue of the sleeping Christ in a rag blanket and by the miserecordia square with the round opening in the wall for mothers to give up their babies. Such terrible times!

Really utterly fantastic! One of the best walking tours I've ever been on. I've got a degree and a masters in history so often find tours to be somewhat basic, but this was a tour that really went indepth in a fantastic way.

Onno was a great tour guide! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learning about the history of Spain. If you are in the complex history or politics of Spain, Onno does a fantastic job of making the information digestible. As he mentioned, there’s not so many sights to see but it is a nice tour of areas in Barcelona as you learn about the civil war.
