    Alex was a WONDERFUL guide. He brought history to life with facts and stories and personal insights. Normandy is stunning, and seeing the locations of WWII was humbling. I was sad when the afternoon ended!

    Omaha Beach/D-Day. Our guide Arthur was an encyclopedia of knowledge, professional, personable, and a delight! He arrived on time and in a very comfortable air conditioned van. Even tho the tour was 4+ hours, it really wasn’t enough time for us. Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery very moving, especially Taps and the Lowering of the flag was very emotional ❤️

    Arthur was an excellent guide. He was a good and conscientious driver. His stories interesting and relevant. He captured our attention and gave us plenty of time at all a of the locations. He also gave us tips to ensure we did not miss some unique activities.

    We so enjoyed our guided tour of DDay beaches with Arthur. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and did a good job of explaining the battles. Despite some rain, he was willing to stand on the beach and continue with no loss of enthusiasm.. (He did offer us rain-free alternatives) He was in fact a licensed French tour guide, as well. My sister, who teaches history and knows a good bit about DDay, learned new things on this tour and had no complaints. Thanks for a wonderful tour!

    Taking me to some of the memorable places with good explanations. Guide was knowledgeable and had information I didn’t know (and I’m a WW2 nerd). Gave a view of the war and loss of live that will stay with me the rest of my life.

    Arnold was amazing! He is part of a multi-generational family from Normandy and was extremely knowledgeable. This was a great balance of guided tour with solo time to explore. He went above and beyond. If we are ever back in France, we will definitely have him as our tour guide for a whole day in Normandy, rather than the half day we did this trip.

    This is a really good tour if you do not have a full day to dedicate to the D-Day sites. It focuses on the most important locations (Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery) and provides a well rounded WWII experience. Our guide, Marie, was fabulous - very knowledgeable about the relevant history and extremely passionate in her presentations. We were a group of 6 and this tour was a highlight of a week long trip to France.

    La excursión es muy buena. Y el guía Matt fue excelente. Pero la página de Viator dice que ofrece el tour en español y es MENTIRA. Yo fui con mis padres y tuve que estar traduciendo todo el tiempo para que ellos pudieran entender. Por suerte éramos sólo nosotros en el tour y no hubo más problemas.
