Not Just the Historical Perspective

Pascal was not only humorous and knowledgeable, but provided an in-depth perspective into the historical accuracy, political and social climate as well as environmental conditions/factors that affected the outcome of this plan. It would have been nice to spend a little more time exploring the museums and monuments. It gives us incentive to hopefully someday return. Very accommodating company.

Our tour guide Charles was amazing and a true fan of history! He told us general information as well tidbits only a true history buff would know. He gave us a little private time as well at each location to explore on our own. I would 10/10 recommend. Bring your own bottle of water—very few options for refreshment before a late lunch stop. Loved loved loved our day! American flags fly beside the french flags in Normandy.

Our guide, Paschal, was/is excellent! Very Informative! His sharing of each place we were at Normandy So good, we could honestly well understand the history, people, the places, country we were in. HIs kindness towards person, and including people in his talks was great. Personality was great! Loved it!!! Love the area and the people!

Marine was fantastic! We really loved this tour. Marine was super knowledgeable and fun and our eyes were opened by so many stories from DDay and the surrounding history. The van was comfortable and the stops were frequent. I would only request more time at the Airborne Museum if the tour operators were open to itinerary feedback. We have been talking about this tour and the stories ever since and will be recommending it to our friends and family!

All of it was amazing! This trip was on my late husband's "bucket list" and as a former Marine, he was a walking encyclopedia of the war. It was important for me to have the most thorough experience and yet, not be in a large group. Pasquale was knowledgeable, a great story teller and appropriately funny at times. At first I thought that perhaps the full day was going to be too long but it flew by and a half day would've felt like things were missing. I spoke to people who did a half day and went to some of the sites we went to on their own the next day, without a guide's knowledge to fill in the questions.

Fred was an amazing tour guide. He is friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the area. He shared his insight and knowledge about the very moving and emotional sights we visited. We all learned so much and gained a proper understanding of the events that led to D-Day and the aftermath. The beaches, museums and cemeteries were fascinating to witness and visit. We spend ample time at each stop. The crowds were small and the weather was cold, but sunny at times. I highly recommend this tour and Fred!
