We had a great time and learned a lot. It was really fun trying so many superfoods at a time! They show more than they advertise for which is really cool! Including the tasting! I would definitely recommend!

Learning about abalones, touching them then eating them was a great experience! I wasn’t too sure if my teens would like this, but they both had a great time. The guide talked too fast to catch everything, but he was funny and had a good sense of humor.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
We believe our tour is good for childrens and teens as well. Our guide has lots of motivation to tell all the stories, so sometimes talk too fast..
Very interesting and educational.

We loved this tour, enjoyed our tour host David so much. Never knew anything about abalone.
It included a small tasting, delicious. This is an incredibly interesting business and we would highly recommend it. It was an hour long.
Thanks again!!

My husband and I learned so much about abalone. It was so informative and fun learning about the process. It was our 1st time there, 1st time tasting abalone and it was yummy!!!
New take on abalone
Christy_O, Jan 2024
I knew virtually nothing about abalone except how delicious it is. This tour changed all that. Quite an operation with the abalone and dulse farming. The abalone was not what I was used to but just as tasty.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Aloha, we are glad to hear you spent good time. We are proud to serve one of the best seafood in the world!
Abalone first timers.
Claire_M, Jan 2024
Never having seen live abalone before, we were fascinated by the underside of the shell. The tour guide took time to answer all our questions and patiently showed us various sizes of abalone, explaining how they were farmed. At the end of the tour we were given a tasting. Great tour!
a pleasant surprise. a last minute visit to kill time turned into time well spent learning about the abalone.
Judy_G, Jan 2024
the passion and knowledge of the owner who was giving the tour. He explained a lot about the animal itself and about the environment and economic forces that affect their business. We got to hold the abalone and also sampled a cooked portion of it and seaweed too!
More than you’d expect
Scott_F, Nov 2023
When I read about this, I thought, “We’ll see abalones in water tanks and learn a bit about how they’re farmed—maybe not too interesting.” But we decided to go and we were pleasantly surprised. Our guide was exceptional. We discussed some biology, some business practices, and we got to examine the abalones close up—even handling them and watching them move as we observed their eating habits and mobility—truly fascinating. We’ll worth the cost!

Thank you for your review. We are so glad your experience was over your expectation. Yes, our guide has a great passion to tell all the story about abalone, and to be a fun experience for the guests!

Interesting farm. Great abalone and sea grapes tasting. Bring your appetite so you can take advantage of the abalone food truck on site! Delicious!

So fun!
Amanda_M, Oct 2023
We learned quite a bit about abalone. The guide was funny with a good sense of humor and a lot of knowledge. We got to hold abalone and taste it. We got to keep the abalone shells too.it was a cheap laid back thing we did and it’s one of my favorite things we’ve done so far.
Response from Host, Oct 2023
Thank you for your visit, and we are glad to see it's your kind of memorable experience on island. Yes, you can save all shells served during a tour, food truck or DIY BBQ. Abalone shell is like a mother pearl.
Very informative
Birdie_O, Sep 2023
Very interesting tour. I enjoyed touching the abalone, hermit crab, and the brittle star. We saw and tasted abalone food.
Not worth it
Dulce_D, Sep 2023
The tour was very brief and really nothing special. Just so so, ide rather spend my $25 to buy abalone, and I am not a frugal person. I just don’t think that it’s worth that much to get a brief tour , better to visit an aquarium
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Thank you for giving us commentts. We are appreciated to pay attention to endangered species. We will try to getting better, and hopefully you are satisfied with the taste of abalone.
Superb Enlightenment
