What To Expect

Start your Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure day or night climb 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Climbs depart from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point. After your expert guide describes the route and covers all-important safety procedures, you'll be safely attached to the static line.

Then set off for the summit of this Brisbane icon, following your guide as your group ascends the eastern side of the bridge. Make your way up a steep incline to a top platform, reaching one of the two high points of the climb, each approximately 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. Enjoy uninterrupted, 360-degree views of the city skyline, spectacular on a twilight climb, and soak up the panorama including the Brisbane River, Moreton Bay, the Glass House Mountains, Mt. Coot-tha, and Lamington National Park in the distance.

From the central platform, traverse the width of the bridge, high above six lanes of traffic. Your Story bridge adventure climb ends with the return to headquarters, where you receive one complimentary high-resolution group photo of your experience.

We did the climb with our American cousin to showcase our beautiful city whilst she holidays with us. We had a wonderful and very informative tour and the cityscape was so beautiful at night….amazing Would definitely recommend it to anyone to see our city from above.

Great experience compared to having done climbed the O2 in London. Downside you can’t take own camera so your stick purchasing their package. Price is good, but I’m still waiting for it to be emailed to me.

What a trill to climb the Brisbane Story Bridge! We had an amazing night climb. We love the night-time view of downtown Brisbane. Jen was a wonderful guide. Our only recommendation is ghat a better camera (better technology) be used for the nighttime photos. The flag trend to blur the beautiful background. Otherwise I would highly recommend this tour.

The climb itself was wonderful and the guide was excellent. The reason I’m giving two stars is because the price of the climb was supposed to come with a group pic. Unfortunately, the company lost the pics from my climb, so not only did I not get my team pic, but I had paid for extra pics which I did not receive as well. This was very disappointing to me because we were visiting from the US, and since we were not allowed to bring our phones, we have no proof of doing this climb. The company did offer for us to come back and redo the climb but they called me days later after I initially emailed them looking for my pics and at this point our flight was the next morning which made it unable for us to do the climb. It would’ve been nice if they offered us either a partial refund since we did not get our team pick which was supposed to come with the price of the climb or a Credit for a new climb when we come back to Brisbane but unfortunately they did not. I understand accidents happened, but I am very disappointed. Going home with no proof of climbing this bridge. 😞

The climb proved to be much more informative than I had expected. Gemma was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the climb and the city below us. The climbing was quite easy with numerous stops and safety was a priority at all times. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The whole event takes about 2 hours and it includes preparing time and photo shooting, story bridge story telling times which is pretty good. I recommend booking for evening times to enjoy the wonderful night view of the bridge and the city. It's a very special experience and meaningful activity to do in Brisbane.

Enjoyed climbing and seeing the spectacular views . Guide was very knowledgeable Only disappointment was the pictures . The group one was not bad but the solo ones had only half body which does not give you full perspective . Also recommend putting a better package of pictures together and adding … The name of the climb and location and a picture of the complete bridge would make it more professional and so possible in todays tech world Thank you If this was possible and you are able to would love a revised complete package .
