Worst Moreton trip
Ghislain_D, Apr 2024
The only good time for this tour was the time we were let go on the beach. The wreck dive was too dangerous with the waves and the current. It does not say that once you go snorkeling you are committed to 35 to 45 minutes. My wife can only do 20 minutes at most. We did not see any dolphin. If the Captain sees dolphins, then he stops and try to show them, so you may get lucky. Again the advertisement makes it sound that part of the tour is to look for dolphins which is a lie. We should have been dropped off on the main vessel from the small vessel, but instead we were stuck on the small vessel. There is no explanation as to where we can par the vehicle at the marina and no directions for the meeting point. The crew was disorganized. This is the worst tour we went on in Australia and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone.
Okay but wouldn’t be first on the list again

Nice day out and lunch was a nice touch but a bit pricy for essentially a few hours on the beach and 30 mins of snorkelling.
Great day out.
Craig_J, Apr 2024
Although you initially think it’s not a cheap day out, by the end of the day you’ve found you’ve had a bargain! The crew were fantastic. Lunch was amazing. We thought it’d be the usual 3 day old stale sandwich, how wrong!! King prawns, pasta salad, chicken, it was so good most people went up for 3rd helpings!! Moreton island is a paradise just of the coast. Spotted numerous pods of dolphins on the way to and back. Also saw a giant green sea turtle. Kids 10, 12 and 14 loved the snorkelling over the wrecks. Absolutely great day out. You get what you pay for!!

Hi Craig, thank you for your amazing review! We're thrilled to hear you had an awesome day out on See Moreton with your Family! We will pass along your feedback to the vessel crew as well. :) Warm Regards, Justin @ See Moreton.
A really enjoyable day, informative and safe.
Karen_R, Apr 2024
Staff were terrific, keeping people safe at all times. It was a bit Crowded at the shipwrecks. Lunch was great and plenty for everyone. The Captain allowed for lots of time viewing dolphins and turtles. Pick up from town a big help.
Too crowded in the water
Diana_D, Apr 2024
Water was too murky and way too many people at once. This needs to have smaller groups and based on skill
Beautiful experience
Virginia_H, Mar 2024
The wrecks are simply beautiful. We saw everything on our day; turtles, dolphins, dugong, clown fish, angel fish, puffer fish. The crew was very nice and the food was good.
A really great day
LYNETTE_D, Mar 2024
We loved watching the dolphins, turtles and dugong swimming, we also saw a stingray in the shallow waters. The wreck was a great experience and a lovely lunch to finish it off. Even though the weather wasn’t great it was a brilliant day had by our visitors from Canada and ourselves.
Morton Island Sea Life Adventures
Ronald_G, Mar 2024
Overall a good day. The catamaran that you take to the island is well maintained, comfortable and well equipped. The lunch meal has a good variety of salads and food to choose from and was very fresh. The crew is very friendly, willing to help, and takes the safety of the participants very seriously. The highlight of the snorkeling was seeing the green sea turtle. On the return trip there was time to stop and view other sea life, including the dugong and the pod of dolphins. If you are looking for a good day on Morton Island you may wish to consider this trip.
Nice day

Meet expectations. Could give better meeting descriptions like which gate to meet at instead of 1/2 mile away
Must do while in Brisbane area.
Anonymous, Mar 2024
The beach and snorkeling was amazing. The water color and clarity was beautiful and enjoyed the colorful tropical fish and coral around the shipwrecks.
Not enough snorkel time
CD_H, Feb 2024
Not enough time snorkeling. Snorkels were not very clean ( black moldy spots in snorkel tubes). Staff was very helpful.
Fun but too long
Robin_P, Jan 2024
The activities were fun, but we spent 45 minutes snorkeling and 90 minutes on the beach, for a total of 2-1/4 hours doing fun things in a day of roughly nine hours! That's too much time traveling for such a short period of recreation . It seemed like the company wasn't particularly efficient. It took too long to load and unload passengers, dock and undock boats, etc.
Response from Host, Jan 2024

Wonderful experience
Rebecca_S, Jan 2024
Despite testing weather conditions (sunny, but very winday) we had a great day. The onboard team were fantastic, food was fabulous & the snorkelling was brilliant
Happy
Ziyan_Z, Jan 2024
Friendly staff, and very experienced. They tried hard to make our journey safe and fun. Wonderful experience.
Great time on Morton Island
Daphne_B, Jan 2024
The snorkeling was the best part. Felt very safe throughout the swim. Seeing the dauphins and turtles was lovely
Great trip.
Chloe_M, Jan 2024
Got to see a lot despite the strong current! The wrecks were so cool and plenty of fish species. We even had some dolphins ride alongside our boat with us on the way.
it was a great...
mitchell_b, Dec 2023
it was a great experience, especially after having our trip to cairns cancelled. snorkeling among the wrecks was great
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hi Mitchell, thank you for taking the time to leave a 5-star review! That is wonderful to hear that you were able to experience Mulgumpin (Moreton Island) when your trip was cancelled. It is great that you enjoyed snorkelling the Tangalooma Wrecks!
Nice day with friends
Karin_G, Dec 2023
Nice trip. They don't have a lot of gluten free options for celiac people (even thought they say they do), but other than that is was nice.
Response from Host, Dec 2023

Mixed feelings. Fabulous lunch
Naomi_D, Dec 2023
Lunch was excellent! The prawns were perfect! Staff were wonderful! Snorkelling wasn’t long enough, not beach time. The guided snorkelling tour was a bit rushed and crowded (other snorkelers bunched up). But the sights were cool.
Response from Host, Dec 2023
Hi Naomi, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback of your experience with See Moreton Dolphin & Tangalooma Wrecks Cruise. Thanks for your kind words about our staff, they definitely go above and beyond to make passengers days! Whilst our snorkelling experience is approx. 1 hour, we hope you enjoyed the time at the Tangalooma Wrecks and were able to see the wonderful marine life. Thanks again,
Is ok
Benjamin_J, Dec 2023
Little bit expensive for just 40 min to snorkeling, team was great, just only one activity, and was very short
Response from Host, Dec 2023

Our snorkel experience is approx. 1 hour, including transfers and safety briefings to and from our main vessel. As per our tour itinerary, we offer free island beach time with the use of Stand Up Paddle Boards and give our passengers the freedom to do as much or as little as they like.
