Perfect hands on chocolate experience for families, kids.

This was the perfect experience for families with kids. You are not making chocolate but using their delicious chocolate to create your own chocolates/truffles. My kids loved decorating the chocolate and making chocolate lollipops.

It was okay. My friends liked making the chocolates. It felt a bit rushed. We toured the museum a little afterwards and it was dusty and not kept up.

This was one of the highlights of our magical trip to Bruges. My teens and I had so much fun. We each came home with a bag of chocolates we made. The space was lovely and the instructor was sweet and informative. Highly recommend!

I loved making chocolate! The instructor was great. I had a lot of laughs and fun. I wish the class had been at least 15 min longer. By the time we washed our hands, donned aprons, the instructor taught us how and what to do, then picking out designs and toppings, waiting for chocolate bag to be filled, first attempts etc. there wasn’t much time to actually make the chocolate. I’d definitely recommend this activity!

Great way to start our time in Bruges

I was with 4 friends, and we had a great time. Louisa (our guide/chef) was very welcoming, informative, and helpful throughout. The workshop was easy, fun, and inclusive. We wrapped and took away all the chocolates we "made" -- and had so much fun. The start of a great day! Highly recommend.

I expected there to be a lot more instruction and interaction during the workshop, it's very on your own other than a quick demo at the beginning. Lots of fun to make chocolates and use all the piping bags though, and I'm sure it's a great experience for kids!

Thank you for your feedback. We prefer to let our visitors make as many chocolates as they wish then to listen to instructions. For those people who still have questions, they are welcome to ask the chocolatier during the workshop.

The tour itself is just a self-guided audio. Chocolate making was fun, definitely not going to make you a pro though. All in all something memorable for the family.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, you need 3 years of schooling to be a chocolatier. Unfortunately we can't teach all of this in a one hour workshop. Our workshops are made to have fun with chocolate. We have chosen for an audio guided tour so that the people can decide what they want to listen to and how much time they want to spend inside the museum. With an actual city guide that is not possible.

Amazing Workshop

This was such a fun experience! We attended the workshop with our 2 children, ages 11 and 9. It was so fun to make chocolate creations. The lady who ran the workshop demonstrated how to use piping bags, how to make different shapes, and how to combine 2 types of chocolate to create words or drawings on the chocolate. We were able to take everything with us that we created. This was one of the highlights of our trip for the whole family. After the workshop we enjoyed walking through the museum. What a fun way to spend a few hours in Bruges!
