Johnathan was our tour guide and clearly has a love for his town. He told us about many UNESCO areas. He managed the group well, keeping us together so we could all hear and allowed for the slower walkers. I would have liked just a little bit more history along with some fascinating facts.

No red umbrella and we lost our tour guide in less than 40 minutes. Spent first 30 minutes in one spot then took off like a bat out of hell. First 1/2 hour was informative and interesting. Would have loved to hear more.

What a great tour! This tour made my trip to Bruges worthwhile. When I first arrived and was plunked down into the hordes of tourists milling about stores we can find at any mall in the U. S. I nearly turned around and fled back to Brussels; but our guide took us away from the madding crowd and into some of the quieter and more interesting areas in the city and told us a lot about its rich and unusual history. It was really fascinating and I was especially taken with the Beguinage neighborhood. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and a joy to listen to. I am very glad I chose to stay and go on the tour!

We had Peter for the tour and covered basically all the worthnoting spots in town despite of the on and off rain. It was educational and fun. Beautiful town - would have taken the boat tour at the end for 12 euro if we didn't have to rush back to bus depot to return to cruise ship. This is my 2nd visit and 1st for my boyfriend. I learned a lot more about Bruges after the 1st time walking tour.

Decent tour. I liked the tour guide's emphasis on storytelling and putting us in the minds of an average Bruge-ian as he navigated us through the town. Some jokes were very awkward and his "the nazis weren't all that bad" story was inaccurate and inappropriate.
