What To Expect

Your morning or afternoon tour begins with pick-up from your hotel at a time of your choosing. Traveling in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle and accompanied by a private guide, set out to take in the highlights of Budapest.

Admire the views along the UNESCO-listed Danube riverfront, browse the stalls at the Central Market Hall, and explore the Jewish Quarter, home to Europe’s largest Synagogue, then continue to City Park to see the historic Széchenyi Bath, the largest thermal bath in Europe. Along the way, stop to take photos of landmarks such as the National Museum, the Parliament building, Western Railway Station, Vajdahunyad Castle, and Heroes Square.

Jump out to stroll down the elegant Andrassy Avenue, home to the lavish Hungarian State Opera House, then take a peek inside the opulent St. Stephen's Basilica. Continue across the Chain Bridge to Buda for a tour of the medieval castle and follow your guide around Trinity Square, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matyas church. After snapping photos of the grand Buda Castle, which dates from the 13th century, head to Gellért Hill for an unbeatable panoramic view of the city and the Danube River.

After four hours taking in the city’s highlights, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

The best way to enjoy Budapest!

We took the 6 hours private tour and Christina was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable and funny. The itinerary was modified for my elderly mom so that she would not be too exhausted. The driver was also considerate and polite. Truly recommended.

Highly. recommend this four hour extensive tour of Budapest. Zoltan was an excellent and informative guide. We stopped and visited 8 or more places of interest to us, but saw everything of importance in Buda and Pest.

Our tour guide Zoltan was right on time, in fact a few minutes early. His car was clean and he had water bottles for us. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history and tailored the tour to the specific places we were especially interested in seeing.

Completely worth the cost for this private tour!

We went for a day to Budapest, and our driver Zoltan was fantastic. We wanted to see all of the major sights and attractions, as we were short on time. He was very friendly and informative. Gave us brief history of all the areas we visited and allowed us time to stop, exit the vehicle and take pictures. The day was a little drizzly but still fantastic none the less. We stopped on both sides of the river, Buda and Pest. They were also very flexible on pick up location as we arrived via train early and they accommodated picking us up from our hotel very last minute. While it seems pricey, for the time we were there, we were able to see all of the sights in a short period of time. Normally we would do a hop on hop off bus tour, I cannot be happier we chose this option. Would absolutely pay for this experience again!

The driver and guide could not have been more attentive or informative. We had a great experience. The car was very comfortable and as I can't walk very far I was able to see all the sights with minimum inconvenience. This tour made our holiday.

A heavy dose of history as you visit a number of sites and landmarks. We did the 6-hour tour and think we could have been just fine with the 4-hr option! Our tour guide was a deep historian and very knowledgeable!
